In the pedestrian zone close to the Hauptmarkt (main square) and the Dom you'll find this well known restaurant inside a nice old building (also terrace in summer).Friendly team welcoming you for lunch.Decoration is nice and clean. The tables have white linnen tablecloth&napkins even for lunch. Lunch menu is a good deal: you get a starter (soup or salad) and a main dish (meat or fish or vegetarian) and also a small glass (0.1) of wine for a price of 23.50 Euros pp.Complimentary bread (Baguette and Sauerteigbrot) served with seasoned butter (olives) was a nice touch.Service was friendly. After sightseeing the centre of Trier, this is an excellent Italian restaurant to finish your day, if you like authentic food. We shared a big Insalata Caprese, that was not the real thing but (fair enough) still a delicious salad. As a main we had Gnocchi al Noci and Pappardelle Pescatora, both fresh and home made. The portions were too big to finish, so we did not try a dessert. The staff was understanding and offered a grappa from the house: great gesture and good digestive. Staff was very attentive and friendly and the bill more than reasonable. We love to come back!

Situated a the smallest airfield in the world lies this small but cosy restaurant. Bin here two times now. Parking just outside the door. Very friendly staff. The card is ok with weight on German standard food. I had this time the chicken with mushrooms. Great taste. The pricing is very cheap compared to Luxembourg. Keep up the good work.

Located outside the city center but worth the drive. The Lebanese chef/owner is in the kitchen preparing outstanding Mediterranean staples with fresh local ingredients. Lovely outside courtyard. Reasonable prices. Great service and accommodating for families. Highly recommended!

We popped in to this wonderful, family-run restaurant to taste some wine. So glad we did, we bought a few bottles even and enjoyed a drink in the courtyard. The medieval style of the castle is really wonderful, and I'd go back for more wine any time!

Zur Mittagszeit war das Wirtshaus gut besucht, Ich suchte mir einen freien Platz und fragte (als hätte ich es geahnt), ob sie hier auch vegetarische Burger im Angebot hätten. Von der Bedienung kam dann mit einem gewissen Unverständnis die Antwort.â.. natürlich nicht...äh vegetarisch, da hätten wir die Käsespätzle und ⦠ne vegetarisch nicht.â Wir leben im 21 Jhdt und ich kenne KEIN Burgerlokal das nicht zumindest einen vegetarischen Burger im Angebot hat. Leider scheint man hier keinen Wert auf vegetarische Kundschaft zu legen. Wieder zeigt sich, dass Schweich immer noch tiefste Provinz ist!

This is a wonderful, family-owned hotel, with cozy rooms, very clean. It is located on the main street, close to many local restaurants, but, fortunately, in also has its own restaurant, perhaps not enough advertised for. If you stay here it is literary not worth it to go to eat somewhere else. The cuisine, a fusion of German-French flavors, is superlative. There are many good restaurants in Schweich, but nothing beats this one. Flawless execution, charm, attention to detail, friendliness... The owners seem to remember each guest, and everyone is welcomed with a smile. Since we live in Schweich, we don't stay at the hotel, but we did recommended to relatives who came to visit, and they only had superlative terms to describe it.

I was happy when this restaurant opened last year: it saved me many trips to Trier in search of fine dining establishments. While the interior of the restaurant is nothing to write home about, what comes on the plate is mouthwatering, conversation stopping, super delicious.
