Have been to Cafe 63 several times in the past 12 months. Each time the service and standard of food has declined. Burnt croissants, burnt pancakes, boiled milk in coffee. Missed orders and prices from another order added to our bill. There are many cafes to choose from in Racecourse Road, Ascot. No need to return to this one.

Lovely old building but the decor was not in keeping. Wait staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Our entrees of cauliflower and parmesan soup and bruschetta were very nice. There were no vegetarian options on the mains menu, we asked our waitress if one was available and she said that chef would be happy to make us up a plate of side dishes of our choice from the other mains items. Instead we opted to have the pumpkin risotto from the entrees menu. The risotto was absolutely tasteless and I found the spinach in it to be too chewy. Nothing on the dessert menu appealed to us so we shared a cheese platter, which was ok. Probably wouldn't go back there.With the decor we support a local artist. Tables are clothed with candles and set accordingly. With beautiful old fireplaces and wooden floors. We are always happy to make up vegetarian meals. We have housemade Linguini on the menu which can be an entree or main. Menu changes seasonal and the desserts Brulee, Chocolate Tart, Apple Turnovers, Rhubarb Crumble we try and have a variety of options. We understand that our Restaurant may not suit everyone.

My husband and I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast here. We had the Loaded Lotus ( basically a big breakfast).it was scrumptious. The service was fast and efficient and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee could have been a little hotter but overall the good was great.Was very popular with passing trade picking up coffee and food on the go. Many of the patrons at this time of day were people having business meetings over breakfast or just coffee.We have been here previously on the weekend when it is very popular with cyclist and early morning joggers stopping for coffee. Weekends might be wise to book for groups.

We went to Brookwater as we wanted something a little special and better than a "Tavern or pub" meal. Great food. Great service. My only complaint would be that the setting was next to the bar where all of the golfers come in after their round so that made it a little noisy and less special, but other than that, we were all very happy.

Took my mother and her brother to Dovetails for a birthday lunch. Loved the simple but elegant décor with the polished wooden floors. Excellent menu selection. Everyone enjoyed their food. Nice view of Denmark Hill. Good service. Would recommend for a trip from Brisbane or for locals

I was thoroughly surprised the cafe was set in the Queens Gardens site... it is well appointed and has nice atmosphere... in the heart of Ipswich in the Queens Garden it is well established feel ... the menu is all day brekkie offerings and lunch menu items... they boast the "thickest" thick shake in the district and with good cause... We were a large group by normal standards for Brekkie but they managed the timing of the meals reasonably well considering there was 15 of us... range of Big brekkies ... eggs bacon sausages toast mushrooms etc ... but i had the waffles and bacon with maple syrup which was well presented and well priced....

My mother, partner and I had breakfast at Homage and it was such a wonderful experience. Perfection!In particular the staff were absolutely delightful and wonderful. Their amazing friendly warm service absolutely lifted things to the next level. The barn restaurant and surroundings are gorgeous, and the food and drinks were delicious. This was a few weeks ago and we are still reminiscing about this lovely experience. Canât wait to return!
