Leaving the hotel you turn left and you are 2 minutes from the beech and if you turn right you are in the heart of shopping heaven. Great restaurants and not to expensive. Will return 100%

Reviewed By Christine BWe stayed in the delightful hotel on the sea at the end of a two week trip through France. Our seaside room on the second floor with a spacious balcony was ideal. We could sleep to the sound of gentle waves or have our coffee as saint jean de luz woke up. The front desk was helpful and the full buffet breakfast was delicious. It was a perfect way to wrap up our trip!

Excellent Customer Service and a Great Hotel
Reviewed By Everywhere37We stayed at the Hotel Windsor in September for several nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our oceanview room provided plenty of entertainment watching the surfers and we loved the sound of crashing waves as the background sound. The breakfast buffet was expansive and excellent and the front desk staff was very helpful each day. After returning to the US with some small presents, including a wonderful Basque sauce that we found at the Biarritz market, we knew we needed more because it disappeared so quickly, I emailed the Windsor & sent a photo of the empty bottle and asked if it would be possible to get more shipped to us. Imagine our surprise and happiness when we received an immediate reply saying yes! Fast forward and within a very short time we received the sauce! We appreciate the excellent and efficient customer service from Sophie, who single-handedly took care of our unusual request. She saw this through from start to finish with a friendly touch and we're very grateful for her superb customer service! We can't wait to stay at the Windsor again and thank her in person.

What’s not to like? Hendaye is an interesting town, we were passing through and would have liked to explore more!

Felt like a 'home' so charming, comfortable & old worldly. Felt like a family member immediately. All staff like "friendly sisters".. Garden & entrance so welcoming ....loved it all..Stay there. You'll love love it...?

Reviewed By O9709INrobmWhat a find! This wonderful 3 star hotel was our backup hotel when the Radisson Hotel in Biarritz was full. It's in a great location and the price we paid was fantastic. Our room was large and had 2 terraces. This is a beach hotel so the rooms are suitably furnished. Our bathroom was fine with a nice shower. The highlight of the hotel however is the AMAZING breakfast that they serve for only €15 per person, There's everything from vanilla crepes to fresh bread and pastries, cereals, meat & cheese, eggs cooked your way and plenty of coffee tea and everything else. The staff that we interacted with were all very nice. There's free parking as well as free wifi too. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to stay in Biarritz.

A good stay in a four star hotel (with a 3 star decor but some 5 star employees)
Reviewed By fleur2002The location is superbly located very close to the town centre with many rooms (and the skytop bar and swimming pool area)) enjoying some of the best views over the ocean in BTZ. The hotel badly needs a refurbishment (think 1980/1990s decor style and furniture) to continue to merit a 4 star and thereby stand out against the many 3 star hotels in BTZ and consequently justify a premium pricing relative to the 3 star competition. We want to highlight a couple of 5 star employees- Firstly, Sophie in reservations who very diligently obtained a 3 night stay for us over the otherwise sold-out Ascension weekend when I turned up at reception just 24 hours before we were due to arrive. We also appreciated her kind gesture to upgrade us to a junior suite. Secondly, Julien at the breakfast service who was very friendly, professional and attentive to our needs. Overall, a good stay.

Reviewed By VintageMooneyReally central to all beaches and shops.. and if you feel like a trip to Bayonne train station is 20- 30 minutes walk.could not really find fault with anything here. Rooms have everything you need. I would not hesitate to recommend , and look forward to visiting again soon.
