Pula is situated at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula and is the area's largest city. Located beneath seven hills and with views of the Adriatic, Pula's unspoiled natural surroundings are magical. Known for its mild climate and tame, beautiful sea, Pula also has a long tradition of winemaking, fishing and shipbuilding. It is also home to many ancient Roman buildings, including the well-preserved, magnificent amphitheater.

We only stayed the 1 night, owner was helpful but you could tell the Hostel was dated and living on past glories. having been a Hostel of the year but that was 7 years ago. The hostel is centralised but requires a full revamp. Is ok and could learn from other Hostels.

They had BED BUGS and don't know how to treat them

Reviewed By Nata H

If you don't want BED Bugs, don't go there. When we went to sleep, there were ~10 BED BUGS crawling on the walls. We took a picture of one bed bug that we caught which you can see. We moved to an (upgraded) room but we had to leave our stuff inside the first room. The staff was nice, but actually they didn't know anything about how to treat the bed bugs. They just let us stay in the contaminated room even though they knew it was contaminated. After two days, the pest control came but they put our luggage out of the room when they sprayed their chemicals. When I was home again, I had a living BED BUG inside my suitcase. The pest control came and it cost me 300 EUROS! We paid the full rent at the hostel. They didn't refund me anything and now they are not even replying to my messages anymore. Back home, I had the stress of my life because I was afraid that my whole flat was infected by the bed bugs. Besides the bed bug story, it was also not very clean and quite noisy since the hostel is located directly next to the street. I am very unsatisfied and do absolutely NOT recommend going there.

I could go back there again, great location

Reviewed By purger23

Staff not on their best game, but good enough. One of them was not particularly enthusiastic about helping the guests, but the other one intervened relatively quickly when she noticed my light bulb was not functioning. The good thing about the beds is that each has a few sockets and a curtain you can pull in order to get more privacy and block the sunlight which can be important in the morning. Great location

Great apartment

We traveled to Pula Croatia from the 18th to 25th July and stayed at the Centar Sonja Apartment which was great for the two of us. The apartment was very clean and had all of the amenities needed for our lovely time there. Best of all is the App “LuckyTrip” who upgraded us there at no extra cost when the first booking didn’t go through, well done LuckyTrip who I’ve recommended to lots of friends and will definitely book my next holiday through them.
