We stoppad for a beer and some light food. The anjouvis in oil with some bread was great, so was the tuna (albacore, they call it bonito..).

We met some friends here who thankfully spoke Spanish. They were able to discuss our order with the waiters and the results were superb. Great location and good value for money with the 3 plate option for 15 Euros.

I found this restaurant disappointing. There was a certain arrogance in the style which was rather disconcerting particularly as the price was quite high for what the meals turned out to be. There was also a bit of untidiness which showed a lack of concern with the restaurant.I did enjoy the anchovies and red peppers

Been there during my business trip to Bermeo this summer. Nice place for tasty snacks and great wine. Friendly service and user friendly price. Browsed through two bottles of wine in no time while looking at boats and eating tasty unidentified cephalopods.

it is by the beach, nice view and location with parking next to it, but once we came to the counter, the noise of the music was so loud and impossible to sit inside, nor the barmen was ready to lower it a bit, the attendants are all young that is fine, but they should also care for the clients that pay for the fact that the are a restaurant. I would skip it next time, bad service, coffee was fairly good.

We had a fantastic meal this weeked and the Basterri Maitea, a beautiful restaurant only known by locals and with award winnig meat for meat lovers. The eating room is beautiful and we were seated next to the fire place, very nice! The outside gardens are large and nicelly kept, great for an after dinner digestive, events, or eating out with children.

this is a nice traditional restaurant just in the outskirts of Bermeo. food in typical basque food, served in a homestyle fashion. food is generous, simple and very good.

Stopped by chance for lunch and although the place was very busy it seemed that locals were in the majority which is always a good sign.The service was excellent and quick and Anna looked after us perfectly.Had the menu of the day which was 3 courses and about 5 choices in each-.all for 12 Euros a person. For starters we had the fish soup which arrived in a large tureen with enough for 3 large bowls each plus fresh crusty bread. That itself would have satisfied us but the fish course for my wife and the meat course for me was too delicious to turn down!! Could not manage any more so just had coffee and unfortunately had to leave immediately for the airport.Lovely views and in the summer it is possible to eat outside on the terraceMuchas gracias por su opinión

Excelent cod (gadus morua)baske style.Local specialyties and most of the staf home made. Best " pintxos" in the area.Good for a bruch,lunch..Huge parking área .Kanoes avaible near by and supberb views of the Mundaka's stuary famous wave .Birdwatching Urdaibai Bird Center 4kms.
