This was the only place we could find open on Sunday afternoon, after a long journey through Spain. We chose a chicken breast salad to share and are so glad we didn't order any more food. I can honestly say that it was the worst meal I have ever had. The chicken had a most peculiar taste to it and the whole salad was swimming in vinegar and we thought that they had soaked the chicken in vinegar because it was "off". We didn't eat very much of it and couldn't wait to get away! Avoid!

I have been there 2 times and was happy about the food both times, good service and a lot of people. I had Cocido the last time and it was really good and well prepared. For sure i will be back for another lunch here. Thanks

If you are looking for El Mirador en el centro de Simanca you will not find it, the restaurant had been destroyed by fire and it reopenned on the other side of the river in Las Acenas.It could be tricky to find it ,it is at the social club place.Very warm welcome by the owner and the quality of the food is excellent if you want a spanish culinary experience do not hesitate,if you will like something special not on the menue call in advance you will be surprise and satisfied!The service is very good with smile and attention ,good wine list from the region not too expansive!

Buscabamos un restaurante distinto para celebrar un cumpleaños y no sin cierto miedo llamamos al ser un sitio de toda la vida pero en cuanto a bodas y comuniones.Nos atendieron inmediatamente y les pedimos si podiamos reservar para cenar o estaba reservado por alguna boda... Nos reservaron la mesa sin problemas y cuando llegamos nos estaba esperando el encargado en la puerta.Al entrar nos llevamos una grata sorpresa puesto que es un local precioso y muy moderno, cuando nosotros nos esperabamos un local castellano con solera (el restaurante tiene mas de 40 años).Pero la sorpresa nos la llevamos... Cuando mos dimos cuenta que eramos los unicos comensales! Habian tenido una boda y un bautizo por la mañana pero aun asi habian decidido darnos mesa.La atencion en todo momento fue excelente por parte del encargado y el producto no fallo, un salmorejo por cuenta de la cada riquisimo, una pata de pulpo a la brasa impresionante (crujiente por fuera y tierna por dentro) y un segundo de carne para cada uno que si bien no impresionaba al verlo pero estaba justo en su punto, hasta las patatas fritas estaban de muerte. El postre fue un milhojas relleno muy correcto y finalizamos con cafes y un licor.Estabamos preparados para sufrir la cuenta... Pero al final nos parecio un precio muy correcto para la atencion recibida y el producto que habiamos degustado.Antes de irnos el encargado nos enseño todas las salas y nos comento que pueden incluso ajustarse al presupuesto del cliente para reuniones de amigos. Un lujo.Salmorejo, pulpo a la brasa, solomillo y entrecot, postre, cafes, licor y bebidas 60,90â¬, lo mismo que nos han cobrado en valladolid en restaurantes con mas fama que eficiencia... HabÃamos oÃdo hablar de este restaurante, sobre todo de sus pinchos de lechazo... pues oh, sorpresa, cuando llegamos el domingo a comer a eso de las 3 (previa reserva un par de dÃas antes) y nos dice la camarera (un diez por esa camarera simpática y atenta, todo hay que decirlo) que no le quedan pinchos de lechazo... solo por eso le pongo tres puntos. Por lo demás, todo rico y correcto. Los pinchos de pollo lo que más nos sorprendió. Precio aceptable, calidad, y buen trato.

Great reception from owner. We had tapas here late afternoon returning when the restaurant opened at 8pm for our supper. I chose a starter of gambas followed by cheese cake. My partner chose the lamb cutlets. It was all delicious. Like most Spanish bars and restaurants the place came alive around 10 pm. Would definitely eat here again if in the area.

If you have the good fortune to visit this restaurant do try the T bone steak. It was fabulous. The restaurant is in a courtyard garden, opened at 9.30pm this particular Saturday night and is a complete surprise compared to the closed building. Wonderful.

Great food but a little overpriced. We ate here on an overnight stop and had a very good traditional Spanish meal. The restaurant was almost empty but still had some atmosphere. Worth a visit.Hola.
