Alborada Restaurant was opened in 1980 and it has belonged to the same family since then. Made at home typical Galician food. Our specialities are based on fish and seafood from Galician Coast: lobster with rice, scallops and shirmps with rice, mixed seaf
If you like super fresh seafood prepared well, so that you can appreciate the wonderful flavors, this is the place for you. No heavy sauces or overly fussy preparation to get in the way of the wonderful taste of very fresh seafood. The service was very friendly and professional. We had a lovely lunch. It really couldn't have been better.

Fresh Sea Food And Iberic Meats.
At lunch yesterday, we asked the owner (Fuentes de Zeta, wonderful) for a suggestion for dinner. She suggested this place. We walked and it was a good long walk from the main area of Baiona. I think we got there at 9:30 and we're the first ones in the place. So funny how late they eat here. By the time we left it was crowded. We had one of their specialty dished which was a pasta with shrimp and it was delicious. If there is a negative, the server was friendly but not warm. May have been the language barrier. The place was also warm. If 3.5 stars were allowed, I'd do that. Food was very good quality.

Taperia-Restaurant heated, with a family atmosphere and long tradition in La Guardia (Founded in 1960). It has an extensive menu of tapas and homemade specialties, and an extensive wine list. We characterized our family deal with the client trying that he
This restaurant is located at the old town, in a small street on the tangle of small streets next to the port. The best place to eat in A Guarda according to many of the customer reviews, the restaurant is known for the good food and excellent wine cellar. There has been a restaurant here since 1960, when Hermelinda established his place. From the food available, we chose to start squid and prawns, both in simple but tasty sauces. As a main course we tasted seafood stew. without shining by the amount and size of the seafood (cockles, and prawns) was tasty. The Albariño recommended by the employee was soft, a bit sweet and easy to drink. Very friendly, professional and diligent staff. We will come back.

Ten of us shared a table and the most delicious selection of fresh barnacles, small sea scallops in their shell, pulpo- A MUST-and a Rice with Bogavante- Lobster that was out of this world. To sit in the window and watch the waves crash over the rocks outside is fantastic- and to enjoy the wonderful seafood from that sea is even better. The owner is most helpful and gracious- ask him for the latest and freshest.Enjoy

I visited this restaurant last Sunday with my family and parents. We booked a table for 9pm and were the first to arrive, (which was expected). The restaurant however filled up over the next 2hrs. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the restaurant, (particularly the toilets) were exceptionally clean. My wife and I had the mixed seafood platter which was very extensive, tasty and well presented. My parents shared a sea bream which they informed me in true low key, don't like to complain British style was apparently a touch on the dry side.We had a couple of bottles of wine, coffees and a few desserts plus starters of salt cod, (VERY) salty though a generous portion, and the fried cheese - excellent. The bill was reasonable rather than fantastic value.I was a decent experience but not ground breaking and we visited primarily because we were only staying just up the road.
Di passaggio per il cammino di Santiago decidiamo di fare tappa in questo locale. Buona la proposta del menù, servizio cordiale e simpatico. Ottima la paella. Raccomandato

the atlantic in front of you, hust at the shore, above a little harbour, you can enjoy great sea food (navarinos, gambas, and of course pulpo) with excellent wine (alborino). Bring warm clothing it can be windy, if you can not get a place behind the transparent shades. The staff was friendly, one lady a little bit bossy. She thought we would order too much food :-))

My wife and I take the dinner menu. We get a table with a great view on the sea. The restaurant is well designed, that improve your stay there. The service is professional and attentive. The dishes were excellent and with a nice presentation. The marluza fish was great. 25 euros for a set menu is fair.

The location of Porto dos Barcos is about 45 minutes drive from Panxon, passed Bayona and on the way to la Guardia. It is right on the ocean, outdoor sitting, and on a sunny day, it is really a treat.Informal, but top quality fresh seafood and fish.We had different seafood appetizers and full Turbot/wild rodaballo in the oven with potatoes panadera which was outstanding. Very nice house white wine and friendly service. Prices are medium high representing good value for money. Of course seafood items like Top quality Percebes, centollo and others are quite expensive.
