This home has been in their family since the 1800’s. If you want to immerse yourself in the culture this is the way to do it! We were treated as treasured guests and got to enjoy this delightful family & home. It was one of our favorite nights of the trip!! Maria is an amazing host and cook, guaranteed the food will not disappoint! Enjoy your stay, we sure did!!

Delightful small hotel

Reviewed By Simon G

Stayed at Lagar de Costa for four nights and enjoyed our time there very much. We would’ve liked to have stayed longer. Situated right in the heart of the Rías Baixas and Albariño wine region and just a short walk from a beautiful coastline, the hotel is close to some beautiful beaches and lovely towns such as Cambados. Here there are many good restaurants and bars. Sonia and her family who own the hotel are lovely, friendly people and help made our stay a pleasure. The hotel itself is immaculate, really tastefully decorated and has excellent rooms with quality en suites. We stayed in both a standard double and a superior and both were superb. One with sea views. Both overlooking the winery’s own vineyard. Sonia conducts a tour/talk every morning in the wine Bodega which is very interesting. The Lagar de Costa wine is really excellent and you can buy direct. I would definitely recommend this charming hotel to anyone.

Pazo de Eidian

El Pazo Eidián is a typical noble house (16th century) of the Galician countryside that is located in the Eidian Place, very close to the Camino de Santiago as it passes through Melide, the geographical heart of Galicia and which was built in an old Templar settlement of whose times the chapel of the village survives. It was the solar house of the López de Basadre family, whose coat of arms belonged to the entrance gate. Now duly restored, it forms a unique space in which our clients can enjoy spacious common areas, cafeteria and dining room and stay in any of the twelve rooms, all equipped with an indoor bathroom, of which two are suites and the rest are double or use individual. On the ground floor and main are Outeiro, Vilanova and Ventosa and the Eidián suite. On the top floor are Basadroa, Amance, Ramil, Pambre and the Santiago suite; and in an annexed exterior, Antas, Pendellos and Vidueiros. Fantastic retreat in a historic mansion. Pazo da Touza is beautifully renovated, with a lot of stylish details and great quality. You have access to a fantastic living room and vast garden. The staff is super friendly, with a lot of suggestions for attractions nearby. Breakfast is carefully prepared, with good quality food. There is a large parking - you have to drive to attractions in the neighbourhood. The hotel might get busy in the weekends due to wedding parties. Overall, fantastic place for some relaxing, quality holidays!

We stayed at Os Areeiros while hiking El Camino. First of all the property is beautiful. The historic 17th century house is located on a small farm (Finca) and vineyard. The real pleasure of our visit was the hospitality and wonderful meals provided by Beatrice and her mother. We were there on a rainy afternoon so they started a fire in the huge fireplace. We had a totally relaxing visit. Thank you Os Areeiros.

Stunningly memorable

Stayed here with a small group of friends making our way along the Camino Portuguese to Santiago de Compostela. The property is amazing -- an old stone farmhouse tastefully renovated and modernized inside but perfectly in character outside. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, as well as scrupulously clean. The food is home-cooked and amazing. Seriously consider making the slight detour -- about 800 metres from the camino -- if you are in the area. This place is worth it in every way possible including the hosts who personify Galician hospitality and warmth.

There is not too much around directly but it is a perfect location to do day-trips and the host Manuel will equip everyone with very good tips where to go. +Warm and heartful contact to the hosts +The breakfast is a rustic and down-to-earth but delicious Spanish breakfast. We liked it a lot! Suggestions and room for improvement: -The WiFi connection was during our stay a little bit fragile and should be stabilized. Anyway: a strong recommendation to go to Os Miguelinos!
