What a find
Reviewed By Richard MHad been wanting to stay here for some time after reading a review when it first opened. Previous attempts were thwarted by the dreaded Covid, but we finally made it. Room terrific, hotel a dream, fo9d great, staff brilliant. Will be back

Reviewed By Maite120570This is a classic house-palace with a great athmosphere. Enormous rooms, very comfortable, big dinning room, terrace with views to the river. All together really charming. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great, even with the limitations imposed by covid. Recommended.

Reviewed By grutzieSummary: breakfast and dinner high quality ingredients and well prepared. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and modern. Stay: the facility is very remote with splendid vistas over a large valley with mountain background. Grounds are well kept and good for a family of youngsters to play footy or relax. Manicured gardens and lovely lawn(s). Sleeping: we stayed in the room called “Tulipa” double bed with mezzanine upstairs with two single beds for kids. Room had views of parking lot. Not the valley. No problem. Sound insulation was poor between rooms. We heard adjacent room, but not overwhelming. Room was spacious and comfortable with decent bathroom. Bed was new and decent. Eating: We ate well, very well. Dinners were local and homemade. No choice but menu was varied with exquisite deserts. They cater to allergy problems. Free Table red wine wasn’t drinkable, but white was ok. They offered other wines at cost. You’ll leave full and overweight with a smile. The fresh croissants for breakfast are delicious. The owners (family run) are correct, down to earth, honest, helpful and available if requested. They, if asked know the area very well. Don’t miss the local market on weekends in the nearby city “la Seu D’Urgell”. To note: the gravel mountain road to the hotel is 2km long with beautiful views is worth it. A standard car is sufficient but bumpy. At night you’ll see deers and by day, goats and sheep. Because it’s remote it’s dead quiet at night apart from local fauna. I would return if in area. A cyclist and foodie paradise

Relaxing family holiday with dog!
Reviewed By mariacassinaeisOverall we had a very pleasant stay and were well looked after by the staff. A few small suggestions would be: Have anti slip bath mats and or hand rail in the baths to help older guests access. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful but at times had people waiting as there was only ever one person at a time. Another person in the dining room may have helped with clearing tables on the terrace. The website times of dining room could be interpreted as offering lunch as well It would be helpful to state that dogs are not able to enter the dining room but must stay on the terrace (this may be an issue in colder weather for those preferring to keep their dogs with them than stay in the room) COVID regulations well adhered to. Andrea on reception was utterly charming.

Reviewed By Dr_KandinskyEstuvimos de maravilla. Trato increible, ayudandonos en todo. Pudimos descansar muy y muy bien. En verano se está fresquito y se puede dormir perfectamente. Habitaciones grandes, limpias y con vistas a la iglesia. El dasayuno es espectacular tanto del dulce (tartas caseras) como salado (embutido y quesos de la zona). Realmente este sitio es exelente.

Sencillo y acogedor, muy recomendable
Reviewed By Su PHemos estado unos días y hemos estado muy a gusto. El hotel es sencillo, la habitación pequeña pero con lo indispensable y la cama muy cómoda. Comparte piscina con el camping que está al lado, solo a 2 minutos caminando, ya que es de los mismos dueños. Muy acogedor y han sido muy amables.

Reviewed By 639emilvThis is an incredible place! Surrounded by total tranquility, simple but great local food AND the sweetest people - a hidden gem for sure! Will defiantly come back here and visit this lovely country house, that has been renovated over many years!
