Buscábamos un sitio para cenar y charlar tranquilamente y dimos con este pequeño rincón. Desde el principio el trato fué de 10. Nos aconsejaron varios platos y con buenos argumentos nos convencieron. Tenian razón al 100%, todo buenÃsimo, muy bien eleborado, y fresco. Las ensaladas estaban espectaculares y debeo recomendar los calamares fritos, increÃbles. Nos dejaron quedarnos todo el rato que quisimos, el precio bien. Si vuelvo por Solsona repetiré y como le dijimos al camarero, Lo Recomendamos si quieres cenar sano, bien y tranquilo.

We had just spent 2 hours touring the "old town" and were in a hurry for a quick bite. Stopped here and ordered a simple margarita pizza and several sodas. Service was quick and friendly while the pizza was OK--nothing special but tasty and satisfied our hunger pains. Price was quite reasonable.

We ate here because it was conveniently nearby and had a very good dinner for only euro 15.00. This gives excellent value when compared to the a la carte prices.

Solsona itself, aside from the archeological museum, has not much to see, but the food at the "Mare de la Font" restaurant, located on the outer edge of Solsona, ......... WOW. It is a gastronomical experience not to be missed. Note: it is only open Friday and Saturday for dinner. Reservations strongly recommended. Our dinner for 4 cost 150 euros - which included a 33 euro bottle of wine, and an extra charge of 4 euros per person as it was a special "truffles" menu.

Very good quality food at razonable price,specially i recommemd the "col i patata amb cansalada",just superb.Good level of servuce and very important very quiet atmosphere where you can enjoy food leaving away any kind of stress.

We were introduced to this restaurant from a lady that we house sat for. We tried it out on Tuesday 25 October for lunch. Absolutely superb. All three courses were delicious. I had the mushroom soup for entree which was extremely flavoursome, followed by pork chops with a thick creamy mushroom sauce. The dessert was a caramel base with cream on top - very yummy and certainly not a sickly sweet taste which you can get from anything with caramel. Glass of wine, bread and coffees were all included in the price of 13 euros. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and hopefully will get to return before our house sit is finished. Thanks to Sandra and staff for making us so welcome.thank you very much for your comments!!

We have been today for lunch and it has been excellent. The quality of the food and the service is amazing. We have enjoyed with the dishes to share as the cod "cocotxas", calçots (fresh onions) tongue carpaccio, broken eggs with mashed potatoes and truffle, veal stuffed with foie...the red wine was excellent from the priorat region (Viatge al Priorat). The desserts were fantastic !!! Pere (the owner) is an excellent host !!! When we drive to Solsona we come always to this restaurant !!! It is an amazing exeperience !!!

Arrived at opening time for lunch last Friday after visiting Solsona's weekly market. Restaurant filled within minutes! Waited patiently for English speaking waiter to share verbal only menu. Well worth the brief wait as we saw variety of dishes coming from kitchen. Only regret is not tasting more dishes! The crepe had the best flavors I've had in all of Catalunya over the past month of eating in restaurants daily! Pork ribs with sauce were very tasty. LOVED the fig ice cream! Appreciated the friendly service! Allow time to walk around the picturesque setting.
