Nos acercamos a este lugar, después de visitar el castillo de Niebla. Buen género, rapidez en el servicio y muy buen precio. Ideal para famiias como nosotros.Recomiendo la pluma y las gambitas cocidas.

Very good place to try out the local dishes. I would recommend you to ask the waiter what they have that day as special dishes, because then you know you are going to get something fresh and well prepared. The ham is very good here.

La Taberna Del Rey is an ideal place to sip a beer or two while watching the bird life on the lake and, with luck, to see a local horseman or two tie their horses to the high hitching rails which are specifically designed to avoid the need to dismount when you pop in for a beer. Like a drive-thru for cowboys I suppose! All very strange, but normal life in this wonderfully unique little town.Nice beer, tapas and meals available, and friendly service. Do you need much more?

Set in a cozy environment, this establishment offers various dishes, ranging from gluten free meat, to fresh sword fish. Overall was it a pleasant experience, but unfortunately was the kitchen not prepared to serve a full restaurant, with only two waiters, which resulted in our group receiving their food at different intervals.Muy buenas, muchas gracias por su valoración, sentimos que la cocina se resintiera y no comieran a tiempo. We ate here twice. First time salad and tapas. Everything was freshly prepared and very delicious. Simple but good. We ordered paella for the next day and were disappointed. We ordered it without meat, only with sea food. But it was brought with chicken, too much salt and a bit dry. The squid inside had a too fishy taste.

Had lunch here last week - lots of fish tapas, boquerones, sardenetes - everything fresh and locally sourced. Great ambiance, busy and buzzing but good service as well. Food & drink, something the Spanish do so well here in Andalusia. Definately worth a visit!
