Reviewed By Curtis BDespite the no frills reception, you get what you pay for at this place. Great location, clean room - although it can be noisy as you can hear your neighbors sneeze, and clean. Within walking distance to most sights in Guadalajara.

Reviewed By JuRutUp on the hill, adjacent to the castle, this friendly hostal is to be found! Convenient free parking in the street outside the hotel, decent rooms, decent Wi-Fi and a comprehensive breakfast. Friendly service too!

Reviewed By Ariadna ÁWe went to La Alcarria to spend the weekend at the Festival de la Lavanda. Almost all the hotels were fully booked, so we had to choose among hostels around the area. The hostel is pretty old, they have made some refurbishments however the general appearance is still messy and not really clean. The rooms are very small, the decoration is terrible and it is not intimate all as you can listen to ALL from the rest of the rooms. Concerning the food, the menu is not very linked to the area and they include dishes like marinated sardines or curry rice. Too pretentious in my opinion. Also if you are seated in the last table of the dinning room you can be accompanied with some new friends (cockroaches!!!). We would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

Lovely place to stay
Reviewed By Sheila BWarm welcome from the family who live on-site. Excellent breakfast provided. Safe secure parking for the car. Garden for the use of guests. Comfortable room overlooking the river - surprisingly cool in view of the heat outside and quite quiet. Equipped with modern TV. Plenty of tourist advice and information available. Interesting town to explore with some nice eating places. A bit hard to find on arrival - take care in those quaint narrow streets.

A hunting mansion converted into a hotel
Reviewed By FRANCISCO JOSE FCharming hotel with great views over Pastrana and its valley, has a large terrace to enjoy summer evenings and sunsets, it is decorated with a lounge and cellar full of hunting trophies that are a delight to admire, in the winery you can taste a wide range of wines from the region, the rooms are spacious, very elegantly decorated and most of them have a private terrace to enjoy the views, It also has a very elegant and flirty little spa from which you can also appreciate the beautiful views of Pastrana and the starry sky in the winter afternoons, it does not have parking although there is plenty of room to park in the surroundings, it does not have meals, it must always be done in the nearby restaurants of the town, if it has breakfast although it is not very varied

Reviewed By angelsweets_80Absolutely loved our stay here. The ladies look after you like a member of the family and really pampered us. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing. It was really cold so they lit the fireplace in the lounge. A proper log burning fireplace with warm blankets. So cosy. Highly recommend a stay here.
