We have come to Sant Feliu de Guixols 4 times now and tend to gravitate to Sant Pol beach rather than the town one. This year we used Tucan Beach every day for morning coffees/afternoon drinks and occasional breakfasts. We did go for a meal one night and that was quick, cheap and cheerful - so it has all bases covered. The main thing about Tucan Beach is that it is practically ON the beach (with the exception of the coastal road in between) so it is a particularly good place to find shade and have a drink while maintaining the people-watching aspects of being on the sand! Service is attentive, quick, friendly, courteous - and the fast food/drinks not lacking in quality. Hence why we spent so much time there, with the staff acknowledging us and knowing what we would typically order.

I did some research on TripAdvisor to find a sports bar in the area we were staying. What a great find. The staff even put on the Rugby league for us, no quibble. Great choice of sports on various screens, inside and out. Very chilled vibe. We returned for the Moto GP - lots of atmosphere but not rowdy. Didn't eat there but had a few drinks. Will be back.
