Find out what Southern-Italian restaurants to try in Barcelona. Nestled between the Mediterranean coast and the colossal Montserrat, Barcelona's deep historical roots stretch through the ruins dotting the city and the local culture and Catalan language. You'll feel you're traveling through time, whether you're watching popular events such as the colles castelleres (human pyramids) and sardanes dances, or walking narrow, maze-like streets and broader boulevards. Stroll from the Gothic Quarter through Passeig de Gracia, where Roman ruins, Gothic cathedrals, and remnants of the Spanish Golden Age and the Civil War stand side by side with surreal and modernist structures by Gaudí and Domènech i Montaner. Stop at any of the numerous restaurant terraces and enjoy traditional calçots and botifarra sausages, flavor-packed tapas, and fresh seafood. At day's end, treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail in one of the many Chirringuitos (beach bars) along the golden beaches embracing the sea.

This has to be one of the best pizzas weâve ever had! The crust is crispy yet light and chewy, fresh mozzarella and delicious simple sauce with a hint of fresh basil!! Excellent price, taste and fast. Friendly wonderful staff! And even Peroni beer! Perfecto!!!

Dined here with friends. As we pulled up outside we did wonder if we were in the right place. However, on entering, there was a fantastic and friendly vibe to the restaurant. Staff is warm and welcoming. The food is delicious. The Tagliatelle was excellent. Tiramisu was good. You wonât be disappointed.

Winemood is a wine bar , with local and international wines , gastronomic tapas working a local product in a fusion between Italian and Catalan cuisine.
If youâre looking for something spectacular then this is the place. Owner is very welcoming and helpful - we got the feeling like we came to our regular neighborhood restaurant where weâve been known for 10 years. Food is delicious, it follows the style of Michelin like restaurants while still managing to keep its simplicity. The prices will make you look twice as you wonât believe that they are truly so honest. But they are - so youâll leave with a full stomach as portions are normal size, still a full wallet and a smile on your face :)
