The owner here has definitely given some thought to how to create the best possible resto to compete with the many other similar offerings in Veli Losinj. How to distinguish your place? The results are pretty spectacular. Clearly they decided they would not be a "high-end by price" restaurant. If one chooses to charge more than anyone else, one can offer more than anyone else, but this is not the route they took. We stayed next door, so we saw their board every day, and we saw that each day, they offered two menus at 85 Kunas (Canadian $17, €12). We ate there 3 times in early June 2019 and each time the food quality was excellent and quantity was such that it was impossible to consider their very fine desserts. They also could not decide to be a seaside resto, because they are not seaside--they're 100 meters from the sea, but you can't see the sea from anywhere in the resto. Yet they have one of the nicest environments of any resto despite it, and that's because they did not cheap out on furnishings. They know that people like to eat outside, but they also don't like to feel like they would have to run if it rained, and so most of their tables are under a kind-of roof, but outside. This arrangement is very clever, since it gives you the best of both worlds. If you like to look up at the sky when you eat, maybe 30% of the tables give you this. If you like a tree to grow through your table, well, they have that too. They have music that is non-intrusive, pleasant, and not an affront to neighbours who want to sleep. Lots of little lights and candles. And they have a bunch of awesome, friendly wait staff who in 3 meals there, never got an order wrong, always were in a good mood, and always did everything they could to make us feel great. All this, and no comments yet about the food? Well here goes.People come to the Adriatic coast to eat grilled orada and branzino. Not every tourist likes this fact, but it's nevertheless been true since before the commies got there in WW2, it was like that throughout the communist period and it has continued to be so in the 30 years since. These guys do this extremely well, and we had these fish, grilled to perfection, with delicious crispy skin and moist, juicy flesh, exactly the way they're supposed to be. (and for € 12 for the MEAL--a big 600-700g fish, swiss chard/potatoes, and a large appetizer for € 12.)Other meals we've had, done to perfection, for €12 were lamb chops, seafood pasta (with a ton of seafood), and suckling pig. Each time with a large, tasty appetizer. The house wine was fine, and if you want something more, they have a good list. They bring out a platter of desserts to choose from at the end, and the one time we took dessert for some ill-advised reason (because it's so good, yet we were so full, we ended up taking dessert home with us) it was excellent.Highly recommended!Dear guest , thank you very much for your nice review and kind words. You exactly described what our intention as management was when we decided to rearrange the terrace .We are glad and satisfied that you as guest recognized our effort to make ambient cosy , wellcome and place for enjoy with all our senses. If you have enjoyed the food , even better ;DHope to see you again and untill then , have a nice and prosperous life .Best regards , Aleksandra

We had a wonderful lunch at this classy restaurant, part of the Alahambra hotel. Although ataying at nearby Bellevue, we were attracted by their terrace and decided to try it for a Sunday lunch. It was a wonderful experience! We had the terrace almost entirely for ourselves, with a wonderful view of Cikat bay, the fragrance of pine trees and the cicadas singing...The food was delicious and inventively prepared - octopus and burrata starter, a very elegant scallop starter garnished with flowers, excellent butter (the truffle one is to die for!) and delicious aim courses. High quality ingredients, beautiful table setting (immaculate linen table cloths etc) and pleasant service contributed to a wonderful experience. They have a kids' menu too, and our 6-year old was delighted with his mini-burger. Excellent and broad choice of wines. A wonderful (if rather pricey) dining experience, perhaps the best in Losinij.

A dinner with family, ordered few simple dishes (fried squids, grilled squids, tuna salad and greek salaf). Service fast enough, food far under expectations, if compared with many other restaurant or even kiosks in the island. Even worse,no credit cards accepted in a bistro really close to Mali Lošini centre. Avoid.

This is a family run restaurant with poor food. I had pizza quatro stagione which was basically a margarita that had fresh peppers and zucchini on one part, sweet corn and hot peppers on second part, mushrooms and ham on the third part and sour cream on last part. It wasn't even tasty. The pastry was too thin and just meeh.I also had a ''Cold chocolate milkshake''?? which was literally milk with melted chocolate on the bottom that got stuck on that same bottom with some whipped cream on top. Disappointment.
