Reviewed By StasyaguThe owner is very nice and helpful man , the apartment is few minutes walk to the city center. The apartment has a big equipped kitchen and a big yard , the room is very clean and has comfort beds and free WiFi. Would be back again for sure.

The apartments are clean and have all the facilities you need, they are also cleaned daily. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend as a place to stay, relax and enjoy!

Each room is fitted with a TV with satellite channels, free WiFi, private kitchen and bathroom.
Good location, close the harbour
Reviewed By 907gaetanodI have been here for one night in August and the overall impression was positive. It was clean, with air conditioner, the host has been very kind with us and in very well located. If can help it’s in the same building as the Post office. Only keep in consideration the rooms are at second and third floor with no elevator, which is good if you are in good health. Bring your own shampoo since it is not provided. I defenetely suggest this place even if maybe it’s a bit overpriced.

Great studio in an excellent location
Reviewed By Ale MThe studio had a very nice modern decoration. It has a fully-equiped american kitchen inside the room, a comfortable sofa and bed and a very nice big bathroom. The location is excellent, it’s just in the main street of the city. We had a misunderstood with the cleaning of the studio, they allowed us to check in earlier than the given time which was very nice from them but when we arrived to the apartment it wasn’t cleaned from the previous guests. We let them know and 5 mins later a person from the staff was in the studio apologising and offering us solutions and recommendations for the city, really appreciated. The staff from the office were also very nice and helpful. Totally recommended.

Reviewed By dasSams1201Great holidays at Villa Matea! Everything was just great. The apartment was perfect situated right next to the beach. The view was awesome. Every day we got new towels and the garbage was taken away. The kitchen is stuffed with all things you need. Try it, you'll love it!

Und das Beste sind die Gastgeber, die so unglaublich nett sind, dass man sich nur wohlfühlen kann. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden und kann nur jedem das Casa del sole empfehlen.

Nice apartments with resonable price
Reviewed By Rudolf LWe stayed there as a group of friends. There were 30 of us for a tennis weekend. The apartments are close to the beach, city centre, tennis courts. All walking distance so our families who didn't play tennis enjoyed a great weekend in Cres too. Apartments are not luxurious, but you get everything you need on the vacation. We particulary enjoyed the grill for all of us in the garden.

Terrible
Reviewed By petra hIn August 2017 on our road trip we decided to spend the night in this lodging. The room was priced at 80 EUR (just for one night!!), but it was last notice and one of the cheapest but nevertheless one expects a certain degree of comfort or at least a minimum standard of it. We came and the man who greeted us was drunk. And that is not only our observation but the observation of another guest who also waited for to be given a room. So it took him quite some time to give us the key to the room. And we finally got the key and entered the room. First we noticed the smell: humide, stuffed, old. Then a friend got into the bathroom: the seat on the toilet was broken and taped (!!!!) together! The net over the bathroom window (which was supposed to keep the mosquitos off the room) was so filthy you couldn't believe it! The shower curtain had a mole at the end so it was also in a desperate need for changing. The bed sheets were clean (at least they appeared to be) but the bed was really uncomfortable. And in the morning when we talked to the owners about that they were making excuses like: "the maid didn't tell us the toilet seat was broken", etc. So they actually don't go and check the situation in the rooms so they could upkeep the apartments at certain level of hospitality! So all and all: don't go!

Reviewed By 600piotrsPierwsze wrażenie jest świetne, ale z czasem dostrzega się coraz więcej minusów. Na plus zasługują widoki, wielkość apartamentu, sympatyczny właściciel, balkonu czy ogródek, gdzie można miło posiedzieć. No i cena - bardzo atrakcyjna. Niestety brakuje wyposażenia w kuchni i łazience, sama łazienka mała, usytuowana niewygodnie na górze. Wypadałoby też trochę popracować nad czystością.

The magnificent story of this Opatija villa began back in 1890 when it was built as an annexe to the Hotel Kvarner. The Villa Amalia (4*) in Opatija, Croatia, is situated right by the sea along the famous Lungomare seafront promenade. Surrounded by a lush green park dotted with Mediterranean and exotic plants, it soon became a popular winter health resort for the Austro-Hungarian aristocracy. This villa was also the favourite choice of the German imperial family and the charismatic American dancer Isadora Duncan, who found inspiration for her dance movements in the fluttering of the palms that grew next to the villa. The Opatija sculptor Tatjana Kostanjević created a sculpture of her that is today situated in front of the villa. The Villa Amalia is located next to the Hotel Kvarner, and its guests can enjoy all the hotel's services and amenities, including conference halls, an outdoor pool and the hotel beach.

Reviewed By Manfredo987Room is fine and large. The view is very good. The staff is o.k. Breakfast is very good. But the noice from the disco nearby you can forget. They should go to the Ballermann or somewhere. Not to Opatija. Sorry. I could not sleep most of the night.
