Reviewed By jvente585393We had a amazing 10 day holiday at the Gala Gala Eco Resort in Ponta D'Oura . From the time we booked through Bev and on site from Mandy we received amazing service -.Bev prepared us very well for our first trip on what was to be expected and available and Mandy was a super host during our lovely stay in the quaint Blue Cottage, ...nothing for both these Ladies were to much trouble for them - they are a formidable Winning Team running a beautiful clean, tidy, well kept resort only 500m from a private beach that has no end ...highly recommended and we will definitely stay there again!

Reviewed By taniap377We stayed in Tri M this weekend it was a very good experience, nice place, staff very helpful , the restaurante has very good food and very good prices. It's near the center of Ponta without the noise of the center. Is walking distance from the beach and center, and if you don't want to cook or use the self-catering facilities, just use the melting pot the restaurant very good. And we were very happy as they allow our small dog to be in the premisses.

Reviewed By Tony Kspend one week in this hotel. very good value for money. friendly staff. very nice food. clean rooms. top service. 5 minutes from the beach. definitely to recommend. you need a 4x4 to get to the hotel the roads are sand roads. the hotel is also very safe and quiet.

Reviewed By tomokos735We enjoyed our weekend stay at Casa Ponta -- its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely view of the town and the ocean, cute swimming pool and bar. We felt at home throughout the weekend! It's also reachable without a 4x4 car. I'd highly recommend Casa Ponta. :-) Btw, when I left behind my earrings, they went out of their way to return them to me, which was an impressive service too!

Beautiful guest house close to the beach
Reviewed By David HBeautifully decorated guest house with four terraced- bedrooms facing a garden, barbecue facilities and a modern kitchen. The property is a five minute walk from the beach and other amenities. Marissa the manager met with us on the main road and arranged secure parking (as Ponta's sand roads are only really suited to four-wheel drives). Marissa was an excellent host throughout and really went above and beyond for our short stay.

Reviewed By Mario1547Here is what to consider: 1. The location as advertised on booking websites/Google/Facebook is inaccurate. Nkanhe lodge is in actual fact behind the taxi stand opposite Fernandos slotted between two very noisy shebeens. 2. There are 18 rooms. All of which are cramped together. When more than two rooms are occupied, the noise echoes in the court yards. Rooms are not sound proof. 3. Four rooms share geyser. The owner instructs the manager to switch on the geyser for one hour per day only. Despite numerous complaints of cold water, the owner still insisted that the geyser is switched on for only one hour a day. Also, if you don't ask for towels, towels are not supplied. 4. Only one roll of toilet paper is supplied for the entire stay. 5. Breakfast hours are officially 07h30-10h30 Yet, breakfast was never ready before 09h00. Juice, corn flakes and milk are provided, but no drinking glasses or breakfast bowls are provided. 6. There are open (live) electrical wires in the room, the bathroom, and around the complex. 7. One would expect the owner to address the basic issues like hot water, the late breakfast, cutlery and drinking glasses, toilet paper and towels. Instead, when we broke a glass bowl by accident, the owner insisted that he pay 500MT to replace it. The owner is obviously in the business for money, not for hospitality. After having encountered the various problems and the 'non-care' attitude of the owner, it is sad to say that this establishment is not recommended.
