In a former farm located in the Vosges’s countryside. 5 large freshly renovated rooms (bathroom with private toilets and walk-in shower or bath, 47'' TV , underfloor heating, wifi). 1 room specially designed for handicapped guests. Large common room, relaxation area with games and library. Private parking, garage for bicycles/motorcycles. Enclosed and quiet garden.
Really superb contemporary renovation of a historic farm
Reviewed By jan24jan24This has to be one of the very best places we stayed in out of our whole month touring France. The combination of a minimalist modern aesthetic with the beautiful old farm building works exceptionally well. And the quality of the welcome, the beds and the breakfast were just as good. We were served complimentary drinks on arrival and again the next day before we left. There is a really lovely large room downstairs where guests can sit on sofas, at tables, or make use of the open plan kitchen, which is also where breakfast is served in the mornings. Breakfast was absolutely superb: lots of local and home-made produce. We especially appreciated the trio of fromages blancs (sheep's, goat's and cow's) with home-made jams. And the home-made crumble especially made gluten free for my partner.

Very quiet location, close to everything in the town - 2 minute walk to the thermal baths. Very gracious and hospitable staff, English spoken. I would happily return.

Fit for an Emperuer (and the mrs and kids)
Reviewed By RobbbaaaMy access code didn't work but that was quickly resolved over the phone . Opening the door I realised what a beautiful house this had been and that it had been renovated to the highest standard. The rooms are equally luxurious including every detail, the furniture, bathroom beds etc ,the best quality and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend this gorgeous house.

Charming dated hard to find hotel
Reviewed By Riekie2No discussion this hotel is dated, still we appreciated the quietness of the location, the nice restaurant and friendly owners. The hotel is a bit hard to find, googlemaps does not indicate the location correctly. In the village rue d'ecole, at the war memorial monument, you see a sign to the hotel, this is the best road up the hill. The food is nice, the breakfast is partly served. You can ask for eggs and meat.

Conçu par l'architecte Charles Heulluy au début du 20ème siècle, Le Beauséjour est une résidence confort au charme "Art Déco". Dans chaque hébergement, vous disposez d'une kitchenette équipée et d'une salle de bain privative. Certains d''entre eux ont un balcon avec vue dégagée. Un service petit-déjeuner buffet vous est proposé au Grand Hôtel à 200 mètres à pied de la résidence. La salle de restaurant et la véranda valent le détour !

Reviewed By tunewitschI can recommend this apartment-style lodging with small living room, small kitchen corner, nice bathroom and beds with good mattresses. The kitchen equipment is not top, but sufficient for small dishes. All rooms have a relatively new refurbishment, but have the typical "charme" that you often find in France when modern-style interiors are squeezed into an old building. The negative aspects: - wifi (a fast one) only in the entrance hall, should be upgraded in the future, - keys have to be picked up at Grand Hotel, - no in-house breakfast (unless you use the kitchenette to prepare it yourself), but highly recommended "salé-sucré" buffet at Grand Hotel (200-300 m away). Pircing is decent.

Spent a pleasant night
Reviewed By DoomW2The four of us stopped and spent the night while passing through town. We were traveling with motorcycles and were hesitant to leave them on the street. The owner (I'm guessing) pulled out his car from the garage and made room for our bikes. He was so nice and welcoming, even though my French is rubbish and he didn't speak much English. Even in the morning he shook everyones hand and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was pretty good too.
