Reviewed By Jacks210394Just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Iberostar Cristina with friends. We were delighted with our choice of hotel which was everything described on the website and more. Highlights were the very friendly and efficient customer service in all areas, the excellent evening entertainment and the quality and variety of food in the restaurant which was the best we’ve enjoyed in a hotel of its 4 star rating with many options freshly cooked to order before you. The hotel is well equipped and furnished with housekeeping staff constantly at work keeping communal areas clean and tidy. We took the ‘All Inclusive’ option but this would be more accurately described as ‘Full board with alcoholic drinks at meal times’ as at other times only non alcoholic drinks are included due to recent changes in local by laws. Also, this is very much a family oriented hotel with the bars closing at midnight but there are plenty of bars on adjacent streets and along the beachfront just a few minutes walk away. Location is ideal too as it is situated midway along the bay with easy walks along the pedestrianised promenade to Can Pastilla and Playa D’Arenal. We would definitely be happy to visit the Cristina again or any other Iberostar with confidence if this is indicative of their standards of service and would strongly recommend it. Thanks to all the staff of the Iberostar Cristina for a great holiday experience.

Satisfaction on 6178 acres. MLL Palma-Bay Club Resort hotel is located in a quiet area in the beach of Palma (Arenal), 350 metres from the beach and 5 minutes from the leisure and shopping centres. It also has a large children’s area and a great entertainment team, who with our staff help you enjoy an unforgettable holidays. The hotel has an area of 25.000 square metres with some restaurants, a snack bar and various bars as well as large gardens and 4 swimming pools. It’s only 8 km from the airport and 10 km from the capital of Mallorca, Palma. It’s a resort with more than 500 bedrooms, most of them with air-conditioning.

Reviewed By 537danikThe beach is a 10 minute walk away, the buildings are simple but clean, it is a 3 star hotel but with many activities to do, you have green gardens for a nice walk, the buffets have variety, and if you have all inclusive you can only have three alcoholic drinks. My room was comfortable and simple, my friends' rooms too, some with balconies, some without. Overall the quality was quite superior for a three star hotel, the staff were fantastic and deserve all the stars.

Reviewed By gmcguire1992Overall we had a lovely holiday. We have visited the Iberostar Selection Sabila in Tenerife so naturally use this as a point of comparison. We comment as follows:- Positives 1. Wonderful welcome by the Reception Team. Flawless check in. 2. Amazing room - we were upgraded to a suite with incredible views of the sea. The room was impeccably clean. 3. Food was pleasant and replenished frequently. 4. Pool area was great with all round sun and plenty of comfortable sun beds. The life guard also enforced the no floats policy which was good - for a 5* hotel you don’t expect huge lilos and rubber rings. 5. Great location - right on the beach and a ten minute taxi ride to the airport. Negatives 1. Food - as I have said above, the food was pleasant and inoffensive. However, it was quite repetitive and not much choice. 2. Staff - the staff were admittedly stretched, with one member saying that they had been asked to work the full 7 days in a row. 3. Around the pool you generally had to order drinks from your sun bed. If you went up to the bar, you were told that they would be served to you at your bed. More often than not, the drinks would take in excess of 20 minutes to arrive and that’s if they could find you! 4. The sunset bar was similar - bar service was not permitted so you had to wait to be served. Again, the service was slow. 5. The indoor bar shuts in the evening. This isn’t ideal when the only other bar is the sunset bar which is largely uncovered. One evening it was raining and naturally the only covered area at the sunset bar was busy and crowded. We found cover in the inside bar area and went to the sunset bar to order a drink, but as there is no bar service, my husband had to locate a very wet seat and wait to be served before bringing them down to me. This is not acceptable for a 5* hotel. 6. Similarly, at dinner you were offered wine or beer (due to the local rules). However, to actually get the attention of a member of staff to order the drinks was another matter. They were so stretched that when they did take your order, you would be forgotten about or served the wrong drinks. 7. I can only eat gluten free foods and the desserts on offer were very poor. Most mousses contained a biscuit topping and on some days the ice cream, which I can eat, was topped with a cone for decoration which contained gluten. Upon querying my options with the chef, I was offered fruit or rice pudding. However, some of the more appetising desserts could’ve been made gluten free quite easily. Overall, we had a lovely holiday but probably would not return. The hotel is unfortunately not a 5*.

Reviewed By 100Debbie1Staff here are great. Lady in front desk very friendly and welcoming and the room we got was lovely and very clean. The hotel is close to Palma city center and everywhere we wanted to go. It's got a modern feel to it which I liked. Breakfast was good with lot's of fresh fruit and all the usual stuff. Pastries were tasty. We'd recommend staying here for any people needing a very good, comfortable place to stay whilst exploring the city of Palma.

Cook's Club Palma Beach is a new collection of hotels which are stripped back to focus only on the things that matter to a new generation of travellers. Opening after renovation in April. Relax and listen to good music played by selected DJ's by the pool area where you also findthe pool bar where you can get fresh juices, cold drinks and well-composed cocktails. The natural place to gather at in Cook's Club Palma Beach is the Cantina. In the Cantina you can get a lot of different dishes from both the local and international kitchen. There is a wide range of vegan and vegetarian dishes, local specialties and healthy choices. In the Cantina there is something for all tastes. If you feel like working out during the holiday the hotel have a gym. For beachgoers, the hotel is a short walk from a sandy beach. If you feel like visit Palma the hotel is close to a bus stop with routes to Palma. Globales Palma Beach is an adult only hotel, with age limit 16 years.

Pros Good vegan options, location, good vibes , very aesthetic, mostly lovely staff, nice beach nearby, good transport links, the half board 14euros a day can be used on drinks and good music by the pool. Cons Maintence issues, poor soundproofing and my complaint wasn't handled as well as I would have liked by management. I would stay here again but only for a short break.

The HM Gran Fiesta is a 4 star hotel that offers its clients a pleasant stay by the sea, thanks to its superb location on the beach front of the Playa de Palma. Our restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner to our clients. And the bars offer snacks and drinks the whole day. In the evening, you can enjoy live music and professional shows. As well as its 315 fully equipped rooms, all with sea views (partial and direct), the hotel has 3 swimming pools, 1 indoor and heated, and another one on the roof terrace. The indoor heated pool has a Jacuzzi and sauna. There is a well a conference room with a capacity to hold up to 50 people and is equipped with the latest in audio-visual technology. The 315 rooms have a balcony, full bathroom with shower and hair dryer, air conditioning, telephone, flat screen TV, safe (extra charge), free wifi, small fridge. The hotel, very close to the airport (4 km), is a great option for your holidays to combine beach and city life with Palma just 10 away.
Beautiful hotel
Reviewed By deanc365We recently stayed here with our 9month old Oona as the staff were so lovely and friendly towards her. Our room was great and breakfast was beautiful, staff on breakfast went above and beyond for our little girl even making her puree banana. If you have the opportunity to stay here do it, the location is perfect and the hotel is beautiful. Special shoutout to the cleaner we had at the first end of our stay who would tidy Oona's toys and fold her bed blankets for us.

Relaxing Family Holiday
Reviewed By gemmacJ5269LIThis hotel is a lovely oasis of calm in the busy resort of playa de palma. We stayed in 2 double rooms, me and my husband in one our daughters age 11 and 13 next door. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Shower was very nice too. Our room overlooked the pool and entertainment area so was some noise until about 10.30pm which didn't bother us. The restaurant was extremely well presented, the staff very efficient and attentive. The food was excellent, we made sure we arrived early for dinner though as it was busy later on. We also ate lunch in the pool snack bar which was also good and the staff there very friendly and helpful. Especially Antonia who greeted us when we first arrived starving and tired! The pool areas are immaculate, there were cleaners and pool attendant working everyday to ensure everything was of a very high standard. Plenty of comfortable loungers and parasols. The main pool was warm and is saline not chlorine. We also went in the quiet pool for a while when the main pool was busy. There was a small section for young children but I expect this does get full in high season. There was nothing I could fault about the hotel but one thing to keep in mind is that there were plenty of groups of young German men checking in. They weren't too much trouble but could be loud and sometimes a little rude after drinking all day and night!! They would sometimes wake us and our daughters up in the night arriving late and shouting in the hallways, banging on doors etc The beach nearby is beautiful but again very busy with Germans and a few English but worth it for a lovely dip in the med sea. There were a lot of traders there too which became annoying after a while. Playa de palma has numerous supermarkets and restaurants, bars and pharmacists if you needed. We visited palma aquarium which was great and in walking distance if you can bear the heat! We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Riu Bravo for a relaxing holiday.

Reviewed By s_hill801We are currently staying at this lovely well situated Hotel. Sadly we leave tomorrow. The Hotel is in a great location, close to the beach, bars & restaurants. Superb location. The staff (especially David who I believe is in charge of the restaurant) are all professional, helpful and friendly. Our stay has been so enjoyable. Although we only ate breakfast - there was plenty of choice & something for everyone with dietary requirements. Palma is a few miles away & we walked there along the promenade. Public transport is excellent & we used bus network to travel to other parts of the island. Port Sellor is an easy bus journey. Coming back for a swim at the end of the day was delightful. Highly recommend this hotel. Our room was 16 on the ground floor. Had a view of the sea from the balcony. Overall a wonderful visit.

Perfect vacation for family with children.

The room is spacious, the variety of food at the buffet is amazing, we stayed 5 days and every single day there's something new and also something for children at all age. I loved the seafood corner, my husband loved the meat station and my 22 month old the pasta station. Just 2 blocks away from the public beach so it was very convenient. Even though its right next to the beer houses, we can still sleep with open window every night. The staff are also very attentive and friendly, especially to young children. They are always one step ahead so we did not even have to ask for anything! There's some room for improvement, like the air conditioning in room is not really cooling much due to the centralized system, and the food option and quality apart from the buffet can be better. Yet, the whole experience is very value for money and I definitely recommend this hotel for families with children.
