We have very nice resting/sleeping, the rooms are clean and the amenities are good for our needs. Some of the these hotels have better breakfasts and good coffee too.(very nice selections of tea,too). Our wish that these hotels are updated w/ electric car outlets in the parking lots! We travel w/ our hybrid and electric cars now a days! Thanks!

Reviewed By capebethThis place is really bad. Old. Dirty. One lightbulb, dank dark ancient rooms. Probably was renovated in the 1970s. It was so unfortunate that we drove three hours rather than stay one night. It’s just gross. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Comfortable Bed with Great Views, But..
Reviewed By TerriLynn29Recent trip to the Berkshires lead me to stay at the Holiday Inn in Pittsfield, MA. [Note I just stayed here in December 2021 for one night as well.]. So let’s talk about parking, there is none on-site. You have to walk a block away, using a bank parking lot and there were a few instances where I didn’t feel safe (a group of men lingering in the parking lot.). Also, if you’re not in shape, it’s an incline to walk up West street to the hotel entrance. I was offered Valet for this trip (not my December one) but couldn’t take advantage as I wasn’t sure if my vehicle would be available timely due to the nature of my visit. As for the hotel room, I loved it! The beds were comfortable, the furniture was functional, comfortable and stylish. Loved the view of Pittsfield - I faced the East side with view of Pittsfield High school dome lit up at night. The room had a Kureg Coffee maker and refrigerator. Here’s my ‘but’ in the Review title: The toilet paper was awful and literally “dissolves upon use” (use imagination on that one). The room was on the 11th floor and was non-smoking however all you could smell was a well known herb stink in the hallway and mildly in the room on the first night. And the breakfast buffet was not good as the food was cold when me/my guest went to eat at 7:15 am (it opened at 6:30 am). None of the serving trays were on (heating) the eggs, bacon, home fries or French toast. We told the server and they did use a microwave in the back to reheat (note now our plates were scalding - and food was microwaved hot). The server did turn on the heating source to the trays at that point then left the area. When I decided to refill my coffee at 7:30 am (after about 3 people had come/gone with their coffees), the 60 cup coffee caraf was empty as well as the creamers. I went to look for server (again) and they were gone. I waited for about another 5 minutes and still no server. My guest and I left the breakfast area to go to the front desk to request my breakfast vouchers for the next day be returned and credited. When we exited the breakfast area, we saw the server mopping the bar-room area so that’s why they didn’t return to check back with us or attend to coffee. The front desk worker apologized for my disappointment in the food. So If you want a good bed to rest on with a great view, this is your place. Wear good walking attire, bring your own TP and plan on eating out.

And to top it off - a manager without any customer service skills. The worst and worst run motel we have ever seen

Reviewed By Sid WWe loved our week here in a one bedroom condo. The condo was very clean and well stocked with dishes and cookware. Bed was comfortable. But what made this place even better was the staff. Every singe staff person we met was friendly and certainly seemed like they really liked their jobs. The location was great for day trips into New York and Vermont as well as the towns in the Berkshires. And right across the street was a terrific Stop and Shop grocery store and gas station.

Reviewed By Mickey1gpOur family has stayed at Yankee Suites numerous times. Due to covid we hadn’t stayed/seen family in a bit. We’re Back! Very clean, quiet accommodations. The suites are comfortably furnished, including a fully functional kitchen. The staff from the beginning of our stay until check out made themselves available. Housekeeping was awesome. All questions/concerns were answered promptly via text. There is access to a laundry room. Wi fi service was excellent. It is conveniently located to nearby restaurants. Yankee Suites is still our favorite place to stay. We highly recommend you check this hidden gem out!!!
