Reviewed By John FThe hosts Dominique and Jerome were most welcoming and helpful. Our one week stay was very enjoyable. We found the chateau a good base for the attractions of the bay of the Somme although it is in a very rural location. (By the way do not expect a castle when you see the word "chateau", but an interesting country house). The rooms are comfortable and each one is individualistically furnished and decorated. The breakfasts are first class with bread and pastries fresh from the bakery. The shared breakfast table offers a good opportunity to meet your fellow guests. We enjoyed food of a high standard on the evenings we had prearranged to dine in. The Kota grill indoor barbecue is a must if you are staying a few days - a true meat feast. The property features a sauna and a spa pool which we did not use. There is no swimming pool. The enterprising host also runs a quad bike business on site, and he is a member of a local blues band.

Reviewed By jean pWe went there to celebrate a special event and absolutely loved it. Nice surroundings, very quiet, free WiFi, save parking and all this within minutes from the town center. We had a very large room with a king size bed. Very clean. The most enjoyable feature was the warm and friendly welcome by the hostess. Breakfast (continental) was gorgeous. If you do have the choice of hotels, this one will not let you down. We plan to go again.

Reviewed By RusshaVery comfortable for families - much better than staying in a hotel. Our kids had a great time playing in the grounds. The rooms were well equipped with use of communal areas and facilities including kettle, sink and fridge. Hosts were lovely and helpful. Breakfast €5pp and well worth it. It is in the middle of nowhere; 10 mins drive to restaurants etc. but this didn’t detract from the stay. Only advice bring tea bags and milk as French tea bags and powdered milk no so nice. Highly recommend for visiting local grave sites and historic areas.

Reviewed By Wright1947Wonderful B & B. where we stayed 5 nights. The decoration is unlike anything you would see in a B & B in England, let alone the location, which was quiet, calm and beautiful. Lovely gardens to the rear of the property. We were able to visit all the places which were on our 'to do' list within an hour or so of the property. The continental breakfast was exceptional, fresh bread from the bakery every morning. ham, cheese, fruit,and much more. Our host was great, as were the three french bull dogs who greeted us on occasion when they were in the grounds. Would return tomorrow if we could.....

Cécile et Pascal souhaitent que leur maison soit un lieu unique rempli de sympathie et de chaleur humaine. Le calme du blockhaus vous permet d'arrêter le temps pendant votre séjour et de vous ressourcer à la campagne. Quoi de mieux d'un bon petit déjeuner bien copieux servi dans la salle à manger des propriétaires avec toujours des produits frais et faits maison.

Breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble.. beautiful immaculately kept property, magnificent room, clean as a whistle, beautiful linens and towels and a very comfy bed. Parking outside joe rooms which made things even easier as we tend to throw everything in the car and use as needed! Use of fridge and kitchen too very convenient. We loved chatting to Sarah and Nathan. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Reviewed By Melissa WMy husband chose this B&B as a stopover between Britanny and Germany and I couldn’t have been more pleased. After a long day driving it was nice to have a bit of luxury. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a nice mix of classic and modern. Beds were wonderful & we all slept well. The owner suggested a restaurant in town but also offered to order a pizza for us. We really appreciated this service. Breakfast was simple but everything was delicious. I ate a second croissant because they were just so good.

Average standard, but low price and super location and a1 restaurant
Reviewed By jan oThis is definitely not a modern, up to date hotel, BUT you get a decent bed, super location, a1 restaurant (french cousine). The breakfast is not fantastic, but you get your coffee/tea, cheese etc so if you are ''down to earth'' and just want to enjoy a stay with no big expenses go for this place.
