I wish I had been given a better more private room location, especially since traveling alone. There were cigarette butts and smell outside on the balcony. I don’t smoke. The toilet ran in my room requiring me to jiggle handle during the night.

Reviewed By Fabio MI arrived by taxi from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport at 1:00 AM. Previously I had contacted the property about my late arrival and they wrote me back that the reception was open 7/24. At 1:00 AM the front door was locked and I waited 10 minutes for the receptionist to show up. He told me he was on a 10 minutes brake. But this was only the beginning of an horrible experience. At the desk he informed me that my reservation was cancelled by the property as they were fully booked. (He also proceeded to tell the same story to two other clients who had arrived in the meantime and had confirmed reservations). I told him I had no car, I just arrived to Phoenix, did not know the city and if he could help me. He refused. So I had to find a new transportation and go, by now it was 1:30 AM to a different hotel. Aside from the extra transportation cost I find this unbelievable. I will never book a Red Roof Inn again. Customers beware! I never got to see the room. The lobby was shabby, no breakfast available, the reception area has a couple of chair and nothing more. If I could give less than terrible I would.

I returned at 8:30 PM on Jan 31. They had changed their name to Extend Suites, and I was told they have no shuttle service after 12 noon. The cab was $17. I was very frustrated especially when I got to my car and found it had a cracked windshield. I stay there for convenience and because The Rodehouse restaurant next door is quite good. Never again. Through the years the hotel has gotten seedier. But, I will miss The Roadhouse.

Reviewed By perryd345This hotel is full of rift raft. I was awakened at midnight to a lady screaming in terror as I heard a taser go off. It was terrifying to hear that . Cops came , so obviously no sleep. After all that , the manager wanted to give me 30 percent off my next visit. RU kidding!!!! I would never stay at that Dump again. Place is noisy, dirty and not safe. Stay away!

The room was as pictured though clearly very dated up close, and relatively clean (no visible roaches), but that’s about all the good I can say about it. Weird policy of taking a copy of your ID, and posted signs at check-in window indicating a 10pm curfew and other odd policies. The lobby is closed, and you must stand outside the check-in window, passing ID, etc through the security opening. That said, the check-in employee was pleasant but very to the point. The guest parking area is surrounded by a gate, which you can only enter with room key card (probably gives you an idea of the character of the area). We arrived very late, and since only staying 1 night and had secured reservation with a cc (would pay anyway if we didn’t stay) we decided to stay. If I were alone, I would have found somewhere else.

Reviewed By T CA new restaurant in a great little Soi. A wine bar that serves a great variety of food. The Spicey Seafood Salad was amazing as was the Oysters. But Phoenix is primarily a beautifully presented Wine Bar offering a well priced selection of wines from all over the world. The staff are attentive, professional and friendly. The owner John, watches over the operation ensuring everything goes to plan. I can only recommend Phoenix 51 in Soi 51, Hua Hin.

The noise of the freeway was so loud and could not get to sleep. So I went to the frt desk they were no rooms available only smoking rooms. I saw plenty of rooms not rented out, we could get our money back But were so tired on our travel, my wife could not go any further.

Reviewed By AaliyahGRCI booked this room for my family as there were some last minute travel changes and they’d be stuck in AZ for the night. The price was very reasonable and the kids enjoyed the pool. The shuttle drivers were so nice and front desk had breakfast out early for them due to the fact they’d miss normal breakfast times for an early flight! The room was good but the customer service was phenomenal!! Thank you for taking care of my family.
