Great stay for family and friends.

Reviewed By Ryany54

Great stay with friends, clean and tidy rooms, quiet, nice friendly staff, courtesy bus to and from Penrith Stadium and Leagues club and very affordable. Beers on ice in our room when we arrived and good facilities, Shelly and her team made our stay a lot of fun. Bar was open until 3am, $5 Tooheys Scooners, does it get any better, will be sure to stay again.

Beware the opportunistic thieves.

I inadvertently left a box of very valuable hobby equipment behind in a room. I didn't realise until I needed said box again. Instead of being notified of my mistake, the box has mysteriously disappeared.

Disappointing

Truly terrible experience. Staff member on reception was judgemental, hasty, rude and unprofessional. Was charged a $125 cleaning fee for a spilt drink without even being approached about the incident. When we went downstairs to address it with the staff member we were told we were lucky not to be thrown out of the hotel as that's what he considered doing and that if we made any noise or other wrong moves we would be kicked out. The whole weekend which was suppose to be a celebration for my friends was ruined as we felt intimidated by his threat for eviction and afraid to lose any more money. Would not recommend staying here

Horrible night sleep (couldn’t get any sleep)!

Reviewed By Happjac

Staff were lovely and room small but clean. Whatever you do, don’t book for Saturday night unless you are all ready intending to stay up all night. Other guest party all night long, not suitable for kids. Left at 7am with people from multiple rooms still drinking, swearing and arguing. My 4yo was scared and I worried my car would get stuck in the middle of an argument. Weekends only suitable for 20 somethings.

How did this property manage to be listed on Trip Adviser?

I would like to know how these people managed to get their spare room in their family home listed. On arrival the first thing was the grass or weeds had not been mowed & there was old broken furniture in the driveway. Our room was at the top of a spiral stair case and contained a queen size bed that was pushed up against one wall and 1 bed side table. No chair or desk or TV or radio and the vertical blinds fell out when we tried to close them. The bathroom was on the ground floor. Shower & toilet. No tub. The following morning while my husband was eating his breakfast the host made several comments in regards to his religious beliefs which I feel is inappropriate. The floor in our room was clean but the walls had dirty finger. For the pleasure of staying in this disgusting accommodation we were charged $175.00 for the night. No tea or coffee or TV. I think Trip Advisor should have a bench mark for listings.

Hidden Gem

What a find! This homely and calming friendly place is exactly what I needed after a long drive. Comfortable, clean, with every basic need covered including being able to have my dogs stay. Christina and Peter are just delightful and are onsite and available if needed, and quietly absent if you don't. Oh and the water pressure in the shower is just Amazing. I will be back. Just love this place. :-)
