We love this restaurant chain. First time at this location, and it did not disappoint. We chose our 11 oz sirloin steak prior to being seated, which was doubly nice, and it was perfect! Sides of loaded baked potato and ceasar salad. Meagan was a great waitress, friendly and attentive. Great meal, for $21 and big enough to satisfy both of us!

Plenty, yes. Good? No. Wanted to try a “traditional” Amish country lunch over a chain or diner. We opted for the menu seating, vs. all-you-can-eat family dining side. Fried chicken was very average (greasy, dry in the inside, tasteless crust) potato salad too sweet and creamy, pork and sauerkraut more like sauerkraut with a little shredded pork in it. The “chop” seemed like canned veggies and beans in a sweet vinegar marinade.

Ate here a few times recently and have to say my overall experience was very positive. The food is excellent and the staff prompt with their service. The space has a nice vibe and is great for large groups. My favourite meal there was the fried chicken and the fish cakes were also good. I found the coleslaw to be a fraction sweet but that's just my personal observation. Also the drinks menu is very very comprehensive. All in all in great spot to eat and socialise.

My wife & I stopped in for dinner before heading home on our two hour trip. We were extremely hungry. We decided to stop here because the parking lot was crouded and we thought the food must be good and affordably priced. We were wrong on both thoughts. We would have been better stopping at McDonald's or Burger King.Dear creativewoods, thank you for telling us about your experience.  I am sorry that you did not enjoy our establishment.  We prepare nearly all of our dishes from scratch while sourcing local ingredients within a few miles of our restaurant so we couldn’t be more different from a Burger King or McDonald’s.

We enjoyed this restaurant. The name...taste of the 50s....says it all. All the years we have been going to Lancaster, this was our first time here. It looks like a 50s joint, sounds like it too. The food was great, a large selection of menu items. The portions are large, we took half of it with us. Unique named items, like the the fred and ethel and the Lucy n ricky...now that we know this place, we will return again.

The food is good, somewhat overpriced. It is an old building but they have done a nice job of making it feel inviting. A friend raved about the onion rings but I was disappointed when I tried them - greasy and more coating than onion. Now what makes this place memorable is Madeline (Maddie as she calls herself). She is a hoot! She isn't just funny, personable and delightful, she is knowledgable about ALL that is offered at the restaurant. You ask a question and you get a detailed explanation of what you are getting, how it is prepared, and all the ingredients. We were a party of 6 and she was on the ball taking care of us, anticipating our needs and making us laugh. She told us she works every day but Wednesday so if (when) I go back it won't be on a Wednesday.

Desire in the details...Fine dining experience at it's best as a result to evident mindful attention to the details. Our reserved table was adorned with a handwritten card displaying my mother-in-law's name among fresh-cut flower arrangement and offered to take home. Professional waitress, Adriann, came with great, easy going personality, complete knowledge of the menu, about the beverages, and the desserts. Each of our three party's meal portions were made with culinary expertise. The fresh-made breads, specially whipped butter, and house-made dipping sauces added to the complete satisfaction factors. The plateware, silverware, and linen cloths present the fineness expectation without any sights of plastic or styrofoam. The tableside servicing men were polite, pleasant and prompt. So good. Thanks everyone. Thank you so much for your kind words. We know that we are blessed with an excellent Chef, superior service staff and a beautiful venue. It’s our honor to serve our guests and we sincerely appreciate your lovely acknowledgment. We hope to see you again soon!

First time having lunch here and I was not disappointed. I had the grilled cheese with bacon jam, Wow! what can I say except you have to try it yourself. Real Bacon bits in a sweet jam on grilled cheese and the bread was yummy. My friend had the grilled cheese with pulled pork and said its the best she ever had. I Love the atmosphere too with lots of quotes on the chalkboard walls, such a great place and every table had fresh flowers, which is not something you see a lot these days.

We are staying in Lancaster for a quick weekend and wanted to go somewhere for dinner that had actual parking, not street parking! Gibraltar is right down the street from our hotel. We walked in and the atmosphere was inviting and clean. We sat up at the bar because all tables were booked up, but the service was excellent. Very friendly bar tenders and they were very fun to watch make drinks! The food was absolutely incredible. They had a few specials for the evening and a small but cohesive menu. I got bacon and corn chowder, which was a special, followed by the lobster fettuccine. That was out of this world! We were enticed by a special strawberry short cake for dessert which was incredible!! Overall, a totally unexpected and delicious experience. I’d recommend this to anyone in the area. Jut be aware, this is definitely an adult atmosphere, kids would have issues finding something to eat!Kvfarbman,Thank you for your review, we are looking forward to serve you soon again. :)
