while they were open, they served some of the best BBQ is the area - but alas,it is no more. They have been closed for close to a year. There is a similar restaurant with the same name located in Hopewell Shopping Center however I don't know if it is owned by the same owners.

I wanted to like it. Once you step inside you're engulfed in the "frying oil in need of replacement" smell. I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich and it was greasy, soggy yet stale somehow and the bacon was not good. I couldn't wait to leave. The people seemed friendly although the server never came back after the food was dropped off so we flagged someone down to get the bill.

I visit Ray’s frequently for Oram’s donuts and really fresh deli meats and cheeses. They are family owned with Ray himself working the counter most of the time. They have made to order sandwiches which blow away Subways. There are a few in store tables to enjoy the meal on site. Great little store and very friendly staff.

Friendly staff with good fried chicken, and I'd recommend a side order of "wedges" which are deep-fried, baked potato slices and are delicious!

The Palms Brazilian Steakhouse

Delivering a Brazilian spin on traditional steakhouse eats, The Palms roving Gauchos tote hefty skewers of flame-grilled meats to tables and carve fresh forkfuls directly onto diners plates.

$150 dollars for 3 adults Easter brunch. HORRIBLE. The only decent part of this whole experience was my wine. The supposedly “gauchos” were high school kids who looked like they would rather be doing homework than carving so called “Brazilian style” meats. The process of ordering was never explained to us by our server, who by the way, smelled like he just came in from smoking an entire pack of cigarettes. The manager was loafing like a slob chowing down his meal at the bar. Employees should keep all their business in the back of house ! I don’t care manager or not. Will NEVER go back, and will NEVER recommend to anyone.

This was a first visit to the tater tot capitol of Ambridge. I’m not a big fan of tater tots but my husband called them exceptional-my bite was overly spiced. For starters it’s really dark inside. Really dark. And because my club had a sundried tomato mayo, I suspect this is a place run by millennials for millennials. The burgers were recommended as the best within 30 miles, yet my husband couldn’t eat the one he ordered. He mumbled something about it not tasting fresh as he stuffed more tots in his mouth. I liked that my club wasn’t of the triple decker variety and the taste was very satisfying. The $8 cider wasn’t worth half the price. I’m always happy to try new local places, and I was glad to go. Just disappointed that it won’t be our next go-to place.

During every vacation when we're visiting family we always make a reservation for family members and meet here for dinner. Harold's always has good service, delicious food, and a wide selection of drinks. I like the salad choices and the appetizer choices as well. My husband goes here for chicken wings and on this occasion most of the family members ordered different types of chicken wings. There are many choices of those also. Yes, we'll see you again next year.

Maple Restaurant

Met up with an old Navy buddy while in the Pittsburgh area. Went over to his house and after shooting the breeze for a while it was time to eat. I drove receiving directions along the way. Wondered where we were going. We parked and walked across street to the Maple Restaurant. By myself I would not have stopped. I was told to order the hot roast beef sandwich and I complied. My wife got “The Bob” a beef steak with onions and peppers. Her review “It was very good”. My hot roast beef was the best I’ve had. Of course, being from the South, I do not have a lot to compare it too. I enjoyed my meal. My friend ordered an extra quart of their gravy to take home. I was told that it was better than they could make. Good meal, highly recommend.
