Frog Creek Campground

A tranquil wonderland of natural beauty where nearly all campsites lay under a canopy of majestic live oaks. Spanish moss hangs from graceful branches as picturesque Frog Creek meanders by. The setting is truly beautiful, rustic and restful.

Unexpected incredible experience

This was our first experience camping for an extended period of time in FL. We learned of Frog Creek through family staying there and encouraging us to join them. We are so glad we did. The campground is lush with live oaks, spanish moss, bromeliads and tropical plants. The campground is on the Frog Creek and kayaking is available with your own kayak or rentals. The campground is very well maintained and always trash free. The bathrooms, laundry facilities and rec areas are VERY clean all the time. The staff are very available if you have any questions and getting answers/help for your needs. During the winter season, an incredible number of activities are set up for the camp guests to encourage being active and being social. While front line campsites cannot have firepits, there are several community pits for anyone to use at any time. There is a large dog park on site that we took advantage of daily with our pet. We are so happy we stayed here and are looking forward to next year already

Relaxing visit

We found Winterset RV Resort to be a wonderful place to stay this past weekend. It was convenient to Bradenton and Sarasota and the pool was absolutely pristine. We had the pool to ourselves the two times we went and in our four days only noticed someone else using it twice during our drives in and out. The pool was so well maintained. It not only was crystal clear but didn't have a stray bug or leaf floating anywhere on it. The park office staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place to others. We were Passport America so it also was a great deal.

Gouging seniors

Fiesta grove in palmetto FL.....We had a 10 day reservation and paid $150 deposit. When we got there we told them we could only stay 3 days due to the pandemic we needed to get home. They told us we had to pay the full 10 days. I can understand their policy ( which we were never informed about) but during this pandemic and economic crisis you would think they would make exceptions. They would not. They chose to profit From seniors with elevated health risks. We left after 3 days as stated and are doing everything we can we let people know about this campground. SHAME ON THEM. ITS A DISGRACE!!
