Clean room, comfy room, friendly enough staff. Our only complaint is the bathroom door. It is a sliding barn type door that doesn't lock and has a gap between the wall and the door . I felt very vulnerable. POOL WAS AWESOME! We had the best time swimming. The water is warm. You could just get in...no tiptoeing forcing yourself in. The hot tub was broken, but honestly the pool area and the pool were warm enough that we didn't need to hop in the hot tub to get warm! Suggestion though! Bring water shoes for inside the pool. The ground is rough in there and a little hard on the feet, not super horrible but it's just a recommendation. Breakfast was good. Who doesn't like to make waffles. They had western omelets and sliced pan cooked kielbasa.. there was subverting for everyone. All in all...great visit..I would recommend and I would stay again.

Don’t pick here!! DIRTY and GROSS!!

This Hotel was so dirty! The floors in the rooms were stained all over I even didn’t take off my shoes and “Slept” fully dressed! Walls were even dirty, with wallpaper peeling off, and various stains there as well. The couch had white stains all over it! There was a jacuzzi in my bathroom which had black “particles” coming out of the jets and the shower wouldn’t even drain! The staff when checking in was friendly but on checkout, the man working the front desk, didn’t even thank me or ask how my stay was. Which was probably a Good thing, because I would have let him know! I was getting reimbursed from work for this stay, but I will NEVER stay here again!

Nice updated room but the parking lot was small. Difficult to locate driveway due to signage. There were few gluten free options for breakfast. The room did have a full length mirror and good lighting in the bathroom.

One nigh pass through town

Reviewed By leighkrista

We were on our way to New York from Wisconsin and stopped here for the night with our two teens. The parking lot was very well lit and we felt comfortable leaving our full car in front of the hotel. Tabatha checked us in - she was kind and efficient. We used our points for the room at only 12,500- not too bad at all. The room was very clean, good sized, well stocked and extremely quiet. The beds were comfortable, linens clean and soft and the bathroom was well appointed. The only issue was the thermostat did not work as we wanted the fan on for white noise. The room was warm enough and we were very tired so we just went to sleep. We did tell the employee at the desk before leaving that the thermostat was not working and more than likely needed batteries. The breakfast was very basic and the eating area was very clean. The lobby appeared clean and bright. For our needs it checked all the boxes.

Pleasant Stay

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed ourselves. We could tell that the room had recently been updated. The shower was great and the room was very spacious. We were also able to get board games and movies from the front desk which was fun! There were children yelling and running around right outside our room frequently. We also noticed toilet paper strung over the balconies, couch cushions dropped from third floor couches down to the 1st floor, and each time we passed the vending/ ice area the machines would be unplugged (even after we plugged them back in to use the machines). I wouldn’t consider the facility at fault for this, as I’m sure kids were doing this. It was pretty frustrating and negatively impacted our experience. Aside from that, the facility itself could use some work (paint chipping, siding not looking the best) , and the view from our room looked out over construction. The restaurant service was a little sub par. It seemed they were understaffed during dinner (understandable I know it gets hectic). But then even at our meals after, the server seemed to forget about us. Same goes for the icebreaker lounge service. Just a little slow, and the workers spent more time on their phones or chatting with coworkers (which I typically don’t mind at all but it was right after I had asked for something, so instead of going and getting what I had asked for they just got on their phone and hung out). But the food tastes great ! Overall we had an alright time. I will say that this was probably my least favorite of the 3 Ohio lodges I’ve stayed at.
