Good Value Centrally located
Reviewed By helenemL1146VJAn old motor lodge with a few updates. I liked that the carpet was removed and an engineered plank flooring was added. The furniture was typical for a motel. The proprietor was congenial with a great sense of humor. A continental breakfast is provided with many different items. The coffee was made fresh in a coffee urn and was very good.

Reviewed By 338jacquelynkI stay here twice a year (for the past 5 years) and this time the service etc. was way below Not worth the price. Room was ok, breakfast eggs were cold, staff not friendly or helpful. Pool/hot tub area was a bit messy.

Best bed ever!
Reviewed By Beth ZThis is an older hotel however, well maintained and very clean. The bed appeared to be pretty new and my husband and I had the best nights sleep we'd ever had in a hotel! We had a late check-in but the host was gracious and informative. They give coupons to their restaurant for breakfast and there is a special menu that you order from, but there is a wide variety and the portions sizeable. It was fast and tasty. We felt we received good value for our money.

Reviewed By DrSteveWAThis was an interesting visit. We were breaking a long road trip and had never stayed in Ontario before. We arrived early and we were given our room. The front desk pointed out we would be better off parking at the other end of the building - they were correct. The sad part was room service were still in our room. We had time and this was no issue for us to wait. Back to the front desk area to wait with coffee. No coffee - but a new batch was quickly made for us. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was ready and so we wnet back - and this is where things go further awry, when we discover the room was not what we thought we had booked. Not sure whose fault this was but did highlight the online booking of rooms was a little confusing. Could we fix this? To fix it we would have to cancel and rebook. That required a cancelation fee - less than 24 hours. So, we stayed where we were and made do. I needed to use the Internet, which was free, but finding a power outlet required we had to move the furniture. The desk/table was clear meant as just a coffee table. The front desk's recommendation for the evening meal was awesome The breakfast is minimalist but free - items like a waffle maker, coffee, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. As suggested in another review, we sat and eat but most arrived grabbed and went. That said, I would happily stay here again. We had a great night's sleep.

Reviewed By AinSeattleAt arrival, we found there to be a reservation problem. Caleb not only found us a better room, it came at a much better price AND he was able to save us getting a cancelation fee! Kudos to Caleb on day one. Then there was minor issues with the shower area. Again, Caleb went above and beyond to help while under stress from other guests reservation issues. Ed...what can we say about Ed and his wonderful breakfasts?? Well, WAY TO GO ED! He was nice, capable and provided the cleanest area and bestest free breakfasts ever! Finally, to the housekeeping staff that I bugged every single day, thanks for all your great help. Was the stay perfect? Well, no. The hallways smelled (Ontario is a legalized/prolific state) and the room/floor above was very noisy (reducing the quality of sleep/room quality) but the customer service went above and beyond making the place a good (if not great) value.

Only want your money
Reviewed By X8012JVnicholasgMade a reservation 1.5 months in advance. They wouldn't give me a reservation number. I showed up a day early and they "couldn't find my reservation" for the next day even, so I had to pay extra. Then they called the next night at 10:00 pm saying they had to cancel my reservation since I didn't check in by 9:00. But I was already checked in! So I asked the next day if I could get my previously agreed upon price at the time of reservation, but they wouldn't do it. It was my fault for showing up early. I even offered to pay the higher price for the early day, I just wanted the original reservation price of the room for the remainder of the nights that I had made the reservation for. No dice, still my fault apparently, they wanted my money. Never going to stay at a motel 6 ever again.
