Stopped in here to watch some football and get something to eat. Good atmosphere, lots of TV's, and good service. We sat at the bar and the barmaid was very nice, attentive and friendly. Lots of beer choices. We had burgers & fries which were very good. A really nice place to catch some sports and have some tasty food.

We went with a big group of friends after getting dinner somewhere else downtown. It was a packed bar with people from ages 21-80. I would definitely say this is a locals bar but itâs pretty bright & not creepy like some small town locals bars. There were two pool tables & one shuffle board table but they were always taken. The service was quick at the bar & the âshotsâ were enormous. They were playing music from the 90s (which is apparently the last time any good music was released). I heard there is an outside sitting area which would be nice this Spring & Summer. One bad thing was that I smelled so strongly like cigarette smoke after leaving the bar.

If you are looking for a place on the weekends to go and just hang out with friends and have a good time, Rooster's is a great place to go. It is downtown and plenty of parking. The atmosphere is great, they usually have live bands playing on the weekend too. If you are looking for a place to go sometime definitely go to Rooster's.
