We went here for a business meeting and all were pleased with the food quality and quantity. Our table consisted of two no- to- low carb people, a gluten free person and me. I'll eat anything! Anyway all ate well and were satisfied. Understated in presentation but we didn't go here for a high end trendy experience. We'll be back!

I read about this restaurant in Edible OKC magazine. We drove from Bricktown to partake of the The Lamb Birria, succulent stewed shredded lamb served with fresh lime, cilantro, sliced radishes, chopped red onions with habanero peppers, corn tortillas & crunchy tortillas. Delicious! Totally worth the drive.

This place is popular and it does have some creative recipes (not necessarily 100% authentic Mexican or Central American food). I would say the food is more inspired in Mexican and Central American food with a heavy emphasis on breakfast which is reflected by the numerous dishes that have eggs in them as one of the main ingredients. The service is fast and the portions are large, but it is a difficult place for a person looking for a mainly vegetarian dish that does not include eggs. I tried getting just side orders of plantains, rice and beans but when I asked the waiter about the prices which were not on the menu he responded somewhat in a somewhat unfriendly fashion that they were all $5 each and that the portion of plantains had only 2-3 small pieces of plantains. This $15 dollar all side order dish of mine ended up being more expensive than ordering something with either eggs or meat. Plantains are 50 cents/plantain at a local latin market so the mark up of $5 for 3 small pieces is rather steep. Rice and black beans are not expensive ingredients so I do not see the justification for the rather large $5 mark up. There is an extensive selection of alcoholic drinks which may explain in part the popularity of the place, after all how many breakfast places serve alcoholic beverages? The portion size of my dish (grilled meat with rice and beans and 2 pieces of plantain plus a small side salad) was large, especially the meat and tasty, but at $12 I felt it was overpriced. I did not see any items on the menus that were priced right based on the ingredients making up the dish. If you are looking for good vegetarian, no egg options this is not the place for you. This second visit reinforced my previous impression about the menu and the prices at this restaurant. Not much has changed in 4 years and therefore I will probably avoid this restaurant in the future.
