First time In Ojai - Great Little Inn
Reviewed By 777RoadThis is a wonderful Inn located in the very quiet edge of the main drag through this quaint town within walking distance to a few restaurants & shops. My first impression was it's very safe there. I never once felt that anywhere in Ojai was unsafe, especially at the inn. I routinely went out to the pool alone late at night, so it meant a great deal to feel that safe! The room was nice, very clean, & had great comfy furniture. Parking was right at the front door so that was awesome. We're a very picky group to impress, but this was a very nice stay for us. The customer service must be mentioned. Every contact with staff members throughout the week was a great experience. They were a wealth of knowledge to us Ohioans visiting Ojai for the first time. And they took care of our every need. I'd certainly go again to stay there as it was just an all around great time for us. Highly recommend the Casa Ojai Inn!

Dishonest Establishment - Do Not Stay Here
Reviewed By 765jeremykDO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. My friends and I had a horrible experience and the management has been dodging our calls to resolve it. I stayed here in late May, along with about 7 other people, as guests of a wedding. All of us were promised a rate that had been negotiated as part of a wedding block, but when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that the rate was not going to be honored. Instead, I was charged almost double the cost. When I raised the issue to the woman working at the hotel, she told me that it was her second week and she didn't know how to resolve any of it and I'd have to contact the owner. I have now called the owner many times and left multiple messages but have gotten no responses. The hotel itself was fine (not great), but I am extremely frustrated by my experience. This is a dishonest establishment and I cannot recommend that anyone stay here.

Solid, honest, and ethical customer service
Reviewed By Patrice HWe were supposed to stay at the Hummingbird Inn for just 1 night. On the day of the stay, our daughter was not feeling well and we had to cancel the trip. It was 6 PM, so I left a message for the Inn stating that we were not coming, and that we knew it was too late to cancel, but that we wanted them to know that the room would be free in case they had a last-minute inquiry. Later that evening we received a message stating they were able to occupy the room with another guest and they gave us a full refund. This is extremely ethical as they did not have to do that according to the cancellation policy and very honest as we would never have known that the room was sold after all. Fantastic service!

Reviewed By j_becks619The grounds of this motel were beautiful. My dog absolutely loved the outdoor area to run freely in. The pool area was very well maintained and could not be more relaxing. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars was because the bathrooms in the rooms could use a little updating. Jacuzzi tubs in the rooms were certainly a plus. I’m not sure if they were in every room though. Oh and this motel is walking distance to downtown! Overall great place to stay!

We came with a group for my bday with friends in early to mid 30s and our babies. We had soooo much fun. Loved the retro vibe - kind of old school Palm Springs feel. A lot of attention to detail in the rooms and grounds with live plants, the comfiest king bed ever, and chill music at the pool. Will definitely return especially if it’s foggy down at the beach we will come back up for the sun at the pool. The vibe is definitely better here than some of the uppity hotels. Jeff and pascal and all the staff were soooo friendly. Thanks for a fun weekend !
