Aiden by Best Western T'Aim Hotel

a very nice stay!

Reviewed By Oschausbonn

GOOD: Room furnishings, carpet matches the furniture wonderfully, everything Nordic-chic, comfortable bed, very good pillows, excellent wifi! Friendly staff, great location on the water (definitely book river side with balcony!) Free parking, coffee 4 capsules in the room, left a very good impression! I will recommend this hotel and am already looking forward to the next visit in May, June this year. NOT GOOD: Showering in the tub is only possible for people < 1,80 M in a stooped position, because the rainforest shower hangs quite low. Even without this shower head, you have to bend down because the hose is only very short. The water in the hand basin only gets a little warm after several minutes (in fact, it takes almost 4 minutes with the water running....), whereas the water in the tub only takes the usual seconds to do so. By the way, I always wonder about the point of integrating a rainforest shower into a bathtub? A rainforest shower belongs in a shower so that you can experience this "effect". Standing at an angle in the bathtub with a distance of only a few centimetres from the wall is completely pointless for a rainforest shower.....

La Cite Suspendue

Walkers lost in an ancient forest have discovered the entrance to a forgotten city, the remains of an ancient civilisation known as the Cite Suspendue (Hanging City)! The Celts who lived there worshipped trees and nature, and existed in perfect harmony with the spirits of the forest. All the hamlets in the suspended city are built on stilts to protect the flora and fauna.

An oasis in the forrest which travels you back in time

Reviewed By Elena A

Don't miss the chance to stay in this hotel while you visit Parc Asterix. It will travel you back in time with the setting, the music, the staff. The buffet dinner is a feast, like the Gaulois banquet. The rooms are fantastic and spacious, with separate room for the children. The location in the forest is very serene and very close on foot to the parc through a back entrance available for the hotels only.I would definetely recommend it and I dream of going back.

Room with swimming pool

Reviewed By paulnys

Great room with swimming pool! Salt water so no smell. Just big enough for a little swim. At walking distance from compiegne center. Friendly owners and nice garden. Unfortunately there is no possibility to have dinner and you also need to pay cash upon arrival.

Moulin aux Moines

Home of the 18th century restored in the ancient(former) barn of the " Mill to the Monks " .Sejours in subjects: indeed to Be, Drive(Ride), Cooks Picarde, unusual residence: teepee and Art of the drawing or Painting. We protected his(her, its) authenticity there, while returning this very friendly place. It is a property where life is enjoyable with as only music, songs of birds and the lapping of the water because we are in edge of That; small river which winds the valley in a natural and green frame. Ideal site for a relaxing and oxygenating stay. Come to discover the spirit of our Picardy and its conviviality

B&B La Parenthese

Surprising reception!

Reviewed By Kath W

I booked this B&B 5 weeks in advance because it had such good reviews and had all the facilities we wished for including a pool. When we arrived after a long drive from the south of France, the owner rushed out to tell us that they were full. I explained that I already had a confirmed booking for 2 nights via booking.com. However, she said that she had a guest who had stayed on for longer and she had to cancel our booking, but had been unable to call us. I found this very strange since she must have known earlier in the day and if she had contacted us earlier, we would have had more options about what to do next. To her credit, she had called a B&B a few miles away and asked if they could take us (that's why I have given a rating of 2). So we had to go there as it was getting late, but it was more expensive and didn't have the same facilities. We ended up going home a day early.

La Homardine

Just one word: WOW!

Reviewed By yan8467

The place is beautiful and authentic, the rooms are wonderful, but above all else; the couple who are in charge are the ones that really made out stay. Their service is the best I have seen in a while, and each meal was homemade gourmet and served privately in the dinning room just for us. I recommend La Homardine for all the reasons mentioned above, and because the price is good.

Reviewed By melamacg
