We have been to this hotel before because of where it is situated. Near the Mountains which are good to climb. The rafters go past the back of the hotel and you can get a raft from there. The food is very good and plenty of it.
I would recommend this restaurant.

Sushi House

Reviewed By P S - Krakow, Poland

My success rate in finding good Sushi around Europe has not been great so far, and especially at places in which Europeans themselves prepare the Sushi I was nearly always disappointed. My best experiences so far were at places with large Japanese communities, such as in Dusseldorf/Germany. And there I go into this Sushi place in Nowy Targ, not a town renowned for its eloquent food choices, and e voila, there are theses Polish guys who really can make some good Sushi. Ok, I do not agree with things like cream cheese in some of the Sushi, but apart from that... really great. It is a nice smallish place, all food was nicely presented, the tea was real leaf tea not the bags that one gets all too often, the rice had good consistency and taste, and in general the Sushi was as good that I would not be able to replicate it at home. For the area the prices are not low, but it is Sushi at the end... Just one thing: Different music would be great.

The best chicken salad ever. Delightfully different. Others in our group had equally good means -- from waffles to pasta. Our server was attentive and courteous. The only unfortunate thing was we were all too full from our lunch to enjoy any of their wonderful desserts and ice cream treats!

It is a very nice place in a small town Nowy Targ. The food is good, however, we had to wait quiet long for the main dish. I ordered beef and the price was almost 30 zl but the dish wasn't too big. I mean after the Starte and the soup it was ok but if I ordered just the main dish it would be too little portion. The service was friendly. There is a big parking. I didn't like the toilets, it was a little bit too dirty.

Goralsko Strawa

When I pushed the locals for the best restaurant in this city the majority called out Steskal Goralska Strawa. We were a little hesitant as this place is a little bit out of the center of town however we were not disappointed. It is similar to many newer restaurants in the traditional mountain "karchma" style restaurants serving regional Polish food. It is a slight detour from the main road, but plug this place into your GPS, park right outside and treat yourself to much better dining experience before you get back into the traffic heading to Zakopane.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, with a fire burning in a large fireplace, all wood interior with many old 'antiquish' tools on display. There were communal tables and a full bar near the dining area.
The service was good and fast. The food was delicious - it did not dissapoint.

I've recently visited this restaurant for the first time and WOW!
The range of choices was great, food was mouth watering. Large portions ensure you don't leave home hungry for very reasonable prices.
Even though they don't have waiters, for as busy as they are, they have a very good and efficient operation. Food comes out fast, accurate, fresh, and delicious.
Definitely would recommend as one of the best dining spots in Nowy Targ and definitely would come back!!!
