A lovely warm greeting set the scene for a very enjoyable Sunday lunch. The overall experience was good and the food was excellent. I chose a starter with tomato, prawns, monkfish and salad followed by deliciously cooked Noix de Saint Jacques. I wasn't too sure though about the accompanying legumes provencale which felt a bit too heavy a contrast for such a delicate dish. My husband chose the chevre chaud starter and a dish from the specials board. He said it was delicious and I benefitted from the seafood that came in the creme sauce! Coffee was very good too. One helpful comment I hope would be to put the instructions regarding the toilet lighting system in English as well as French. Wasn't a problem for me but could be for some!! Very pleased we went and will definitely go again.

This restaurant is new to Villeneuve sur Lot and has fresh modern decor, plenty of space between tables, comfortable seating and is spotlessly clean throughout. It is located near to the cinema near the banks of the R Lot. The service is excellent without being over fussy. We have visited on several occasions at lunch time and on an evening. The seafood platter is excellent as are the specials which change regularly. My favourite was the swordfish venetian style and the lobster lasagne. My least favourite was the lobster which was griddled and tasted bitter and chewy. The wine list is good and they usually have a good value special white wine at around 12 euros a bottle. The owner also has a fishmonger shop and market stall and so the fish is always good quality and fresh. There is a high chair available and the toilets are modern and clean. We own a gite complex in the area and recommend this restaurant to our guests. If you love fish and seafood then this is definitely the best restaurant in Villeneuve Sur Lot.Expect to pay about 20 euros - 30 euros per head. The only downside is that the outside dining area is small and unremarkable.

The Restaurant is in the commercial centre in the E.Leclerc Supermarket Building. The Restaurant is quite large with plenty of individual seating, has a very good atmosphere. For the Buffet there are 3 choices starting at â¬12.90 fro the Hot Buffet & Dessert the most popular is â¬14.40 and gives you the option of Hot and Cold Buffet. The Buffet are is very large and well laid out with plenty of choice for every taste, excellent fresh salmon also shellfish. Most people make up a starter of either fish or cold meats, there pate soup and plenty of fresh bread every type of salad. For the main course you can make a different choice either hot or cold, for Dessert there is a very large range all types of Gateaux's Flans, fresh fruit, pastries etc.There are other choices for those that do not want the Buffet, there is a Bar area and the drinks are reasonably priced. There are also childrens MenusThere is free WiFi in the Restaurant area.
