worst experience I have ever had at Harrah's
Reviewed By bettygC474NCI got there at 2:30 and was told I would have to pay a $15 fee to check in before 3 p.m. There wasn't even a bench or seat for me to wait. I am a senior citizen and standing when I was already exhausted was not an option. At 3 I checked in and was told that room 666 was the only room available. I had this reservation for a month . The carpet in the hallway was in need of a good stretch. I is dangerous for people to walk on uneven flooring. The room was adquate. The desk clerk was very unfriendly. I have stayed at Harrah's numerous times and this is the worst ever.

Reviewed By denisewL8225VLOur room was so nasty!! The carpets need cleaning so bad!! The room stunk like smoke and it was supposed to be no smoking??? Our bathroom was not clean!! Only 2 thin ans rough towels 2 rough and thin wash clothes and no hand towels!! We were so tired when we got in and did not look like a place to trust to have someone come in and clean while we were gone!! WHY DOES THIS PLACE HAVE AN 8.2 RATING IS SUCH A FLUKE!!!

Some Good and Bad Points
Reviewed By Paul CWe love the convenient location, the staff is friendly, and they are fixing up the place with new beds and such. On the flip side, they have few amenities, and the breakfast is just coffee and packaged muffins. I hesitate to say this, but we've stayed there six times, and three of those times we've lost things. Items forgotten in the room and never turned in, or just plain vanished. Yes we are older and absent minded, however we do travel a lot, and it's only happened at this one place.

Reviewed By Flyer67873739308Place looks condemned as soon as you pull up! Grass and weeds 6 feet tall. Bugs in our room. Weird guy walking around banging on doors and windows of room. Staff didn’t seem too concerned. Safety was areal concern. We got in about 12 am and left before 7.

Poor customer service
Reviewed By Mobile64907814374Our family was planning a girls night out. I reserved a room and my daughter reserved a room. We both called and requested adjoining rooms. When my daughter checked in she reminded to save the room next door for me. I check in a couple of hours later that room isn't available. In fact there are no rooms available on that floor. I am a Titanium member my daughter is a Platinum. Didn't make a difference here. There were notes about adjoining room were on our profiles. No manager on duty Just be happy with what we have available is the attitude

Great clean, new hotel in North Kansas City
Reviewed By travelinlight58I was impressed by this hotel. Very clean. Cool "hang out" area with beer and wine on tap. The rooms were great. Each had a mini kitchen in them (refrigerator, freezer, microwave and dishwasher). Great location for exploring North Kansas City. Lots of great places nearby (Casinos, restaurants, brew pubs, bars, distilleries, etc.). We will be back!
