We stayed at the Hilton in Amsterdam and got to enjoy this restaurant every morning for breakfast and twice for dinner. The breakfast buffet was very good and the service was fine for a buffet style breakfast. At dinner we enjoyed excellent food and very good service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the area

Basically pizza bread with a thin topping. If that's your sort of thing this is a good option; personally I prefer Naples-style thin crust. They had 4 vegan options and another 6 or so vegetarian options. They don't seem to use any plant-based "cheese", just various vegetable toppings - tomato, mushroom, etc. Decent flavor bur nothing special.

I had been looking for a good pizza, so Mangia jumped out at me. The atmosphere is nice on quaint street outside the touristy areas of the city. I had a caprese salad and a pizza, and enjoyed them both very much. The restaurant did fill up by 20:00 and many people were coming it to simply pick pizzas up. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. The menu offered much more than pizza too. I'd recommend Mangia to anyone in the area looking for Italian.

The best Italian dishes I’ve ever had In Amsterdam! We had a starter with PARMIGIANA and two main courses: GNOCCHI alla Sorrentina and Spaghetti with vongole and bottarga!! DELICIOUS!! Verdiana was so kind with us and Luigi was the coolest Italian chef I’ve ever met! We felt like at home!

We received delivery pizza from this place and it was inedible, we threw it in the bin and called the restaurant to complain. The base was limp, stale and tasteless, the topping was like lumps of salt in chewy cheese.

I went to Pastai with 14 friends for my girlfriend’s birthday. We were looking for an Italian place (since I am Italian) and Pastai was definitely the best choice! Food was amazing, hand-made pasta and lovely dishes! The staff was soooo nice and kind with us, they really let us feel as home! We loved this place. So so so many choices! We ate Greek and crab noodle soup. We added fries and beer. Prices were very reasonable. And the desserts we amazing! Highly recommend this spot. You will find so many great options to try!

You'll only find excellent vegan and vegetarian food here. I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian but I absolutely enjoyed the food. There are a few menu items that aren't as flavourful as others, so be sure to ask if that's your preference.

It was my first visit with a good friend, near my neighbourhood. Didn't expect much the rating is good so we tried. That evening turned out to be the best Itialain in Amsterdam! A combination of great value for food, sophisticated interior, every details made the big difference. Not to mention friendly service. Definitely will be back.

....make sure to visit this secret hideaway! Stuck in the suburbs of Amsterdam this local hangout serves mouthwatering Italian dishes. As they make very clear before you enter the restaurant, they don’t serve pizza. Well, you don’t miss the pizza for a second. Fresh prepared dishes served with a smile.
