Based on their website, I thought this was a Mexican restaurant/bistro that had pure, simple ingredients. I was told the corn tortillas would be gluten-free but I couldn't get answers about other ingredients. I was very ill for several days after eating here. Based on my reaction, I think it was possibly due to soy and/or MSG. If you have food allergies or sensitivities, it could be a problem.

...and the burrito was delicious!! We all liked our dinners. Ordered several different types of margaritas and all were very good. Attentive and friendly wait staff. Fun decor. Reasonable prices! We look forward to returning on our next visit.

After our move to the Smoky Mountains three years ago, I have struggled to find any decent Mexican anywhere. Well lucky for me, my son just moved to Fletcher and some friends suggested this place and I am so glad they did.I am going to tell you this is hands down the best Mexican I gave ever had at a restaurant, even beats out anything in my 41 years in Texas!Everything was perfect! Not spicy, not bland, just perfect and their queso tastes just like mine, which is perfect, lol!The ground beef was seasoned perfectly and not s ton of cumin which seems to be unfortunately a trend in these parts.I love their selection of Mexican beers and local craft ones! Salsa was perfect too!Service was great and super fast!We will definitely be going back here !

Pathetic chicken bowl. So I asked for extra lettuce and got less than I would have in a normal bowl. The guy asking what I wanted on it was not listening to me at all! I will never go back!

This place was good, but not the best Mexican restaurant we've tried in the area. The staff seemed friendly except for our server. She must have been having a bad day. Her problem was listening. I clearly named what I wanted, even pointed to it on the menu, but when it came... well, ground beef is not sliced beef, the restaurant's sauce on my salad is not guacamole, and beans are not rice. She was gone while I was trying to tell her the order was wrong. But the food (I ate what she brought) wasn't bad. Plenty of food. Didn't care for blaring music and TV in our face. This was our only time there, and we'll give La Carreta another chance in the future.

Weâve enjoyed most items listed in the menu. But, our overall favorite is the the pollo tropical with large pieces of grilled chicken, sautéed onions, peppers and pineapple sprinkled with Mexican cheese all with a side of rice and lettuce with crema. Fantastic!

We stopped here for a quick lunch as I had to catch a flight that afternoon. I had the special - double-decker tacos. They were really good, as were the rice and beans. And the portions were huge. I ate so much of the delicious chips & salsa before the meal, that I could hardly finish everything. Service was great, as were the prices.

I have eaten many times at Casa Torres, and have never been disappointed. The prices are very reasonable. There is a huge selection. The chips are always fresh. The wait staff is very attentive to your needs. It had seating inside and out. You won't be disappointed!

Nothing really negative that can be said about Abeja's. Nice friendly service, limited but very good menu selection. Just two minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
