We were walking through Dieppe to find a place to eat.At Le Palmier, there were people eating on the terras and it looked very nice; couscous with a lot of things. We don't really know the North African kitchen, so we were afraid that we were not able to order a good meal.But we talked to the waiter and he advised us, he took the time to explain everything that was on the card. We ordered the Couscous Royal combined with the Tajin with chicken, fruit and almonds. It really was deliscious and we were happy that the friendly waiter convinced us to eat at Le Palmier. So the food is very good, but the waiter, he might be the best they have at Le Palmier. If this waiter had not talked to us, we wouldn't have tasted the food at all.Thank you IsmaeI.

We have our one or two favourites in Dieppe but there was a massive festival when we got there on this occasion, as we were on our way to the ferry we managed to park up just on the town side of the iron bridge and walked around until we found an eaterie that wasn't finished serving or full, and decided to try the Bekaa. We have this kind of food quite a lot back in England but they do it so well. We loved the quirky Lebanese Middle Eastern decor, the heavy rustic water jugs, the service was terrific. We had five or six mezze between us and it was all completely delicious and perfect. After a six hour journey from central France and a depressing crawl around Dieppe for another hour looking for somewhere to eat this was a real relief, thankyou guys it was perfect.

This is off the promenade and has a good atmosphere and is decorated appropriately.There is a great choice on the menu and wine list, we tried wine from the Atlas mountains and we had a pichet of french wine.Either way, it is delicious and not expensive.I had different tagines; king prawns one nights and meatballs the other- both were lovely.The couscous dishes were fabulous too.Berbere salad is fresh and the "brick"- deep fried pastry with a filling- is yummy.Give this one a go, there is nothing else like it in Dieppe.

En service traiteur, nous avons fait appel à Saïda pour un couscous familial... pour une première expérience cela a été une belle surprise. Le couscous royal est vraiment royal, très copieux et le prêt d'une mijoteuse électrique permet d'avoir tour au long du repas un plat à bonne température... ParfaitLe service est très bon, Saîda est pleine d'attention et nous nous traite comme ses invités ou sa famille, chacun appréciera... nous ce sera très prochainement.Les entrées et les pâtisseries font envie... ce sera pour une prochaine fois.
