Noda Japanese Steakhouse

We have visited many hibachi locations in many states. This restaurant happens to have one of the biggest selections I have ever seen. Food was cooked correctly and the prices were not unreasonable. We would recommend this location. The only draw back is the parking for this location. You either have to find street parking and walk or pay for the lot that is close.

Sushi Nanase

Reviewed By pjalb

There is sushi, and then there is the intersection of culture, custom, honor and integrity that come together - also called sushi. The former is ubiquitous, and a decent way to enjoy a light and reasonably healthy meal. The latter, reverentially depicted in the 2011 documentary, "Jiro Dreams of Sushi", is quite rare and at times quite expensive. What are the chances of finding such an experience at a nondescript storefront in White Plains? Well...actually your chances are very good, at Nanase. A few things worth noting up front. Firstly, there are only 3 tables, and the restaurant only appears to seat 10 comfortably in additions to a small sushi bar. Second, the building is literally a storefront, no signage with the name of the restaurant so it is easily missed. Lastly, MAKE A RESERVATION! On our visit we were only one of two tables, and a walk-in couple was turned away. We assumed it was because the third table was reserved, but it was because the food on hand is tailored to the reserved diners. Ok, so truth be told, we never looked at a menu. When we made our reservation we also placed an order for tasting menu number 2. Not knowing what each course would present us with made for some tasty anticipation, which did not disappoint. I'll not reveal the courses here other than to say there was no extreme variety of sushi to worry about. Each course was explained as it was presented, and it was simply the best sushi I've experienced. Oh and they make their own soy sauce, which is so far removed from the commercial version it is ethereal.

I ate here several times when it opened. Then ordered through their home delivery about 5 times. They have some sushi fish that is not run of the mill. Their Tempura is also above average.

This all-you-can-eat Sashimi/Sushi restaurant consistently offers the freshest of sashimi and creative rolls. The hot appetizers, soups and other dishes are also very good. Choices are not just the inexpensive fish, but uni and similar higher quality So many options, that anyone sould be satisfied. Service is helpful & friendly. You may have to go with the flow at times because, for most of staff, English is a second language. Well worth the money and the visit!

Wild fusion has quite a large outdoor dining area as it has converted a parking lot. There are outdoor large screen HD TVs, a bar and of course multiple tables to choose from. The food was good and the prices were fairly reasonable, but not inexpensive. We had good service. We also have an indoor seating area where one can dine.
