We visited An Italian Affair for dinner, thanks to the recommendation of someone we talked to that day when we arrived in Massena. I had the penne with meat sauce and my husband had a stromboli. The portions were very generous, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was really friendly and provided great service.

Servers for very friendly nice variety of food. However this just felt like a dumb down version of an Applebee's restaurant. Nothing wrong with The Establishment and just looking for a bit more than American chain food

I recently went to this restaurant with a group of friends for dinner. I thought we were eating in the main dining room where there is a large round table. I have found that in a large group a round table is necessary to confabulate. Rectangular tables isolate much of the group. I was disappointed when we did not get the large table. Our reservation was for seven and it was after seven thirty before we were seated. I noticed one of the workers had tattoos up and down her arms.I have a strong aversion to tattoos. So here I am in a restaurant at a table I dislike feeling uncomfortable about eating here. So what do I do? All the time I am thinking where is the hospitality? It is a shame the food is good, but the service horrible.

Had dinner with girlfriends here. Everyone was highly satisfied with their order. On Wednesdays they discount pasta dishes. We wanted Pinot Grigio wine but they didn't have any. Served us a very good Chardonnay that was not oakie. I will go back. Very good service and nice atmosphere.

This is kind of a hole in the wall in Massena New York. Right off Main Street with a little bit of signage. Currently going through construction which looks like they're making the place bigger with possible more table seating. We ordered a meatball sandwich and a chicken Primavera sandwich. There are two tables with about eight chairs. Food was definitely fresh warm and enjoyable lots of cheese and sauce. Great selection of traditional soft drinks and Ice T's available.
