Met a friend for lunch today at "Javier's Café". The food was fabulous!! I couldn't find anything on the menu I didn't like!! Finally decided on the "Ovengold Turkey Sandwich", with a side of French Fries. They offer both Breakfast and Lunch from 6am through 3pm, the hours they are open, so if you want French Toast, eggs, or pancakes for lunch, this is your place!! The service was friendly, and efficient. The restaurant is small in size, and was full at the time we were there, so it does have a tendency to be somewhat noisy. Parking is easy, as there is ample parking in the rear of the restaurant, and an entrance from the parking lot, as well. I will definitely be going back soon, and I recommend it highly to others!!
This is a Carvel shop near my home so I visited it many times. This shop is clean. The service is quick and easy. They accept credit card no matter what the bill is. The ice creams taste the same as all other Carvel shops - great! My kids love them all :) The interior of the shop is nice and clean, but has no table to sit and eat. There are only a few chairs to sit.

I've passed this place many times, but decided to stop in for a quick take out of a slice and a drink.I saw a posted special, something like 2 slices and get a drink free. So I ordered two "gourmet" slices (instead of the one I intended) and when I went to pay, asked about the "special" only to learn the slices could only be "regular slices" to get the free drink. So, Let me get this straight, -- if I pay less money I get a free drink, but if I ante up more money for gourmet slices (even buying a slice I didn't intent to buy), then I don't get the free drink!Well, that's just dumb!OK then, my choice from now on will be to spend LESS money there - it was my first trip, and will be my last, since THAT policy makes "no cents at all!!"The slices were average, the place was ok, and there's nothing more to write about.
