I stopped here with a friend on a gorgeous afternoon in June. We ate outside. We had a very friendly waiter from Salvador. My friend had the crab cake appetizer as a meal and I had the brisket club sandwich. He really enjoyed the crab cake. While my sandwich was very good, it was not what I expected. It turned out to be brisket barbecue, not roasted slices. It was too messy to eat with my hands. It did have a generous proportion of brisket. The home made cole slaw was very good. The restaurant is handicapped accessible. I did not see much of the inside but it looked very nice. It has Irish harp motifs on the awnings, so we think it may be an Irish Pub at night. We were just driving around when we found this restaurant. I highly recommend going out of your way to visit this restaurant and Piermont.

A great friendly place with excellent bartenders, Sean Kirin, and like most Irish pubs you’ll have a friend. The menu caries some great staples yet the beauty of this spot is the chef daily specials. Beer selection is extensive an the liquor top shelf market is there.

Much ballyhooed restaurant in a lovely scenic spot, but cuisine, service and drinks below expectations. Very limited menu with exorbitant prices, small portions and very erratic service. Food was poorly prepared and over cooked. Cocktails were inconsistent and a second round was completely different in taste and appearance. Main dining area extremely noisy with irrelevant music blaring throughout. Unfortunately did not experience what I anticipated to be a memorable dining experience.

You have to see this restaurant to believe it! Such great character! The history and stories in this building! The charm still remains from back in the 1700's. The multiple fireplaces, wood beams, and wood floors all add to the great ambiance. The décor hanging on the walls fit the period well. You can even sit on a bar stool at the bar and order a great beer on tap. We didn't know we could make reservations but we were lucky that we scored a table on a very busy Saturday evening. Another couple we met for dinner hadn't been here either and drove like us, almost 45 minutes. The restaurant provided a basket of fresh rolls and butter once we placed our meal order. My wife and I started with the Mesclun Salads while our friends ordered the French onion soup and the corn chowder soup. The salads were a very generous portion and had several different lettuce leaves. Not your basic salad. We were told the soups were tasty and they both went back empty. Our entrees included the hangar steak, two orders of the crab cakes, and the Jaeger Schnitzel. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly after the waiter provided a suggestion on how he would order it. The steak came with French fries which were overcooked and greasy as well as a creamy spinach. The crab cakes were a big hit. Two medium sized crab cakes with rice and vegetables. Real crab meat. Very filling. The Jaeger Schnitzel was tasty. All the portion sizes were very good. As coffee snobs, we would say the coffee was excellent. No room for dessert. Our meal was very leisurely. It was slow at times but the ambiance made up for it. Our waiter was excellent but very overwhelming and annoying on occasions. He provided us stories of his life, his kids, his kids girlfriends, etc. TMI. The prices were reasonable and there was sufficient parking in their lot. If not, there was parking on the streets behind the restaurant. I'll be back when the fireplaces are blazing.

This former Biddle home...think spouse of a Duke (tobacco not aristocracy) and now a conference Center and Inn in hilly and charming Tarrytown NY. We pull up to the manor house entrance and are escorted to the basement...dark, low ceilings, paneled and a showplace for vintage photos of men and women sports teams from the early 20th c. The food is delicious...upscale pub fare. The french onion soup is amazing...The broth is there to hold the onions in place. Sandwiches or salads...each treated with respect. A kitchen garden on the estate provides fresh veggies and herbs in season. Do explore the upstairs house and grounds before you depart. Enchanting.

Bridge View Tavern

My wife and I visited Sleepy Hollow for a long weekend to celebrate the Halloween festivities this year and stayed at the Doubletree in Tarrytown. The Bridge View Tavern was a place we read about on TripAdvsior prior to going and wanted to check it out for lunch on a Friday as it was a close drive. We had an awesome experience and our server Patty was a large reason why. She greeted us immediately and talked to us like old friends. We told her we were in Sleepy Hollow to see the sites, etc. and not only did she give us a map with info she also recommended several things to do in the area. We had excellent (and spicy) Bloody Mary’s and burgers for lunch and everything was fantastic – the Chorizo Burger was unique and I loved it. We then walked around town all day, went on a cemetery tour, etc. for the next 8 hours and decided to come back for drinks and snacks. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of speaking to Patty once more and learned she is actually the GM of the place. She was a joy to talk to and she and her staff are excellent. The bartenders we had were on top of everything and the Yankees were playing so it was packed. We ended up staying until close because we were having such a great time. They also have a little beer garden out back, but we didn’t have a chance to see it as we wanted to watch the game. Make sure to try the pulled pork nachos. I would highly recommend this place for top shelf food, craft beers and an awesome staff!

July 2019, Saturday afternoon, came here for drinks with friends, and sat outside in the bar area which has a great vibe. We got the first round of drinks right away, however it took 15-20 minutes for one of the Five Bartenders behind the large oval shaped bar to even notice us. I understand that they are busy making drinks, and working the cash register, but honestly each Bartender should be stationed at each of the four corners of the bar so they could be taking care of the drink and food orders. Management do your customers a favor and have Six Bartenders working the bar especially on Saturday and Sundays. Have each stationed at the corner, and center of the bar, so your customers do not have to be waiting 15-20 minutes just to be noticed to order a drink.

Been here twice. Outstanding BBQ and great prices. Recommend the combo platters. Corn souffle is outstanding, must order. Service could have been better. At one point server disappeared for 15 minutes. Food could have been hotter when served. Still the best BBQ around here. Will be back.

14 and Hudson is a lovely, although noisy, restaurant in a lovely town. I had the blueberry pancakes which were delicious and large. Not only were there blueberries in the pancakes but also surrounding them. However, for $18.00 they are very pricey. My wife had the Baja Fish Tacos which were also delicious. However, our friends said that the meals they ordered were good but lacked that extra which would have made them excellent. The service was just okay because there was only one waitress. We did very much enjoy our stroll through the town and along the water. We will be back to lovely Piermont, but we will try another restaurant.
