The Poyer's

A delightfully situated restaurant which serves amazingly excellent food. The chef/owner is French and his menu offers several tapas dishes and half a dozen each of entrees and mains. The oysters are only offered if they are of acceptable quality and the breads are great. The chef’s wife waits at tables with a wonderfully friendly and helpful manner and she knows the wines expertly. This place is an absolute gem.

Always when I go to cirque I enjoy my meal ,and today was just as good tried the Tempura Fish with hand cut chips .wow was it great a crunch in every mouthful.Chips crisp and the side salad was so tasty .We had great service even though we didn't have a booking and the restaurant was busy. A little but good wine list with a good Riesling . Sorry they don't open at night ,but they do a fantastic breakfast .Well worth a visit .

Many thanks to the Frens and extended family for looking after us this weekend. Their restaurant is buzzing and the food is absolutely delicious and features some classic German treats - our big group road-tested nearly everything on the menu (from the beef Rouladen to the chip sandwich with gravy) and our verdict was 5 stars - we left with boxes of fresh ginger cookies and a fan-crush photo which we all appreciated - these guys are super gracious and still laughing even after a long day making the diners happy - we will be back!
