I was recommended by a few friends about this restuarant, so we went to checked it out. To our horror, when we arrived we found the restuarant floor were very dirty, food scraps were every where. It was a hot day and flies were every where. Birds were flying in from outside to picked on the scraps.We sitting down and immediately we ordered our meals, because we were in expected to finish and leave the restuarant in hour after we had our lunch. We waited and waited. We even asked the waitress about our orders. After 45 to 50 minutes later, we finally got our meals. All in all bad service.

Food was absolutely disgusting it wasn't even edible we waited over an hr just to get our drinks coffee was terrible tasted burnt & sour some drinks were forgotten completely when our food finally arrived after an hr & a half they brought out half the meals then half hr later brought out the rest which were all cold & not cooked properly we had a milkshake which was forgotten even after reminding staff twice in the end we had to ask for it taken away as we had all finished our meals & we're still waiting the service was absolutely terrible most of us didn't even bother eating our meals & those that did ended up with diarrhoea do not bother going to this cafe it is an absolute waste of $ & should really be inspected by the health inspectorHi Jess_fordz,Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at Bombora Cafe. We take the matters you have raised about our food extremely seriously, and as such I have requested an investigation be commenced which culminates a procedural review of staff operations for that particular day, a video analysis supported by documentation and receipts for the period that you were in our cafe. The things that you have mentioned will become evident during these proceedings and our findings will reflect what actually occurred. I find it difficult to believe that we would purposefully make and serve food of the quality you describe, and that our service levels would be commensurate with the same, this is not what we are about. I will provide a response in due course and thank you for bringing these matters to my attention.

Great food, great Chai Latte, lovely staff & beautiful place to be!!Only negative feedback about this place is the their pricing is a bit over the top. The serves are a good size serving, but too expensive considering this is only on the Central Coast; Not in the Sydney CBD.

Yummy food. Amazing hot chocolate. Thick thick shake.Recommend anything with bacon they stack it on high!!Heaps of staff on although no Staff said Hi, take a seat, hereâs some menu etc... only spoke at register when I ordered and when they delivered food.

We stopped for a mid-morning coffee after a drive around the Central Coast's northern lakes and beaches.The cafe was in the hands of two young women at about 11am. We ordered coffees and sat to read the paper.The wait was inordinately long as there were problems with the coffee-grinder. The traffic noise was imposing even with the door closed at this main road venue. We had time to observe a lot.1) The cleanliness of the venue. The place was in need of a good sweep and some dusting. No-one it seems had tidied the newspaper and magazine racks for days going by the dates on old newspapers and scattered magazines. The coffee tables and dining tables were almost all smeared and in need of a good wipe-down. The counter-top was cluttered and untidy ... all as though no one cared.2) Six and eight legged creatures. We were sharing the floorspace with a lot of live and dead insects and arachnids. Neither of the employees was interested in (or embarrassed by) the parade of cockroaches, ants, flies and spiders. (A spray with insecticide the day before at close-up time and a follow-up with a broom or vacuum-cleaner would do wonders.)My wife's soy flat white was good/average. My skim flat white was way below par.Service: 1.5/5Ambience: 1/5Food/Beverages: 1.5/5Cleanliness: 0/5Pricing/Value for Money: 2/5

Went for breakfast with the family. Coffee was OK but waited 10mins with only 2 other people there. Meals were average with the icy cold hollandaise making the whole meal cold by the time it was served. Had 7 meals ordered in 3 seperate transactions and the first ordered (kids meal) was the last to come out. Other friends who came in after us waited 20mins for coffee and cake. Will try them again but definitely need to look at their service and what's on in the local area for staffing reasons
