My husband and I arrived in Westfield late after a 7 hour drive. Everything was closed. We found this restaurant online and because it was near our hotel, decided to go for it. As we walked in around 9:30, it looked like they were wrapping things up. But I was assured that they could still take us. The service was very pleasant.... no sign of resentment that we had arrived so late. The food was amazing! Red Curry with Shrimp was great as were the spring roll apps we tried. We were both very glad to have happened into this great place. We'll go back when we visit Westfield again.

Simply the best sushi in NJ. This place beats out all the other sushi places I've been to; on flavor, quality, preparation, consistentcy and presentation. The price is commensurate with the quality and a good value. The owners are super sweet folks and their staff is very good. . Everything on the menu is great.Enjoy!

We stopped in for dinner last week. When we went up for food, the person handling the food was totally sick with a bad cold, and was touching all the food trays. Disgusting. We walked out, but I told the manager, and he said" They fine, they fine".I wanted to call the board of health.

This is a high-end sushi restaurant in the middle of Westfield-the fish is very fresh and the portion sizes are generous. In comparison to other sushi restaurants akai is a little more expensive, about 25% in some cases. The service was very attentive, and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the Caribbean salad which had a great portion of fresh fish, a basterd roll and a few other assorted items that overall I would rate very highly. Normally I can eat quite a bit of sushi and get hungry again later, but I was very full afterward and quite satisfied.

Sushi at reasonable prices. Can't go wrong with their 3 roll special. Their negimaki and tempura dishes are excellent too. Good deal on the bento boxes.

Tried Roosterspin for the first time yesterday and we will definitely be back. Their signature crispy chicken is TRULY crispy and is a must. Their crispy or steamed buns are great as well. The place gets busy fast because it's for everybody and they cater to kids. Their mocktails menu is icing on the cake!

We have been coming to this restaurant for many many years. We would always get takeout however now my husband and I go there often to dine in rather than take out. The service is always personable. The food is always good. A reasonable price and it's convenient to where we live.

We were excited to see the homemade soy sauce on the table, a sign advertising homemade kimchee - this was a place that was obviously dedicated to good food. And it was good, but not as good as other sushi places we've been to that are just as close and closer to our location.The portions were standard, the plating average - the service was very good. There appeared to be many regulars who knew the workers, as well as the other customers who I'm sure, are big fans. We're just not one of them.
