Fernandes 2 Steak House

First they were right on time with our reservation on a busy Friday evening. Immediately showed attention. Javier, our waiter, was excellent. A group of four for dinner. I had the Bitoque a “Portuguesa” for the first time and it was quite good. Two of the others had filet mignon on the roof tile and it was amazing. The potatoes and all were very good. Of course, we must order sangria, and it was excellent - $27 for a large pitcher, not sure if bargain or not, but very good. Although we did not have dessert, it was very extensive. We hung out at the bar after and there was plenty of elbow room and friendly tenders. Thanks

Had a long leisurely lunch with an old colleague. I had one of the lunch specials, the Paella Valencia. Very good. Lots of seafood, Spanish sausage and a half of a lobster tail. Huge portions. Plan on leaving with a doggie bag. The bread was delicious. Excellent service. On site parking lot. Accessibility ramp. The only negative thing that I can say, if it is a negative--they wouldn't let me package my own leftovers. Said that it was't allowed. This is the first time that I have encountered this. I prefer to put my leftovers in the container myself. They were nice about it though. They didn't rush us and let us stay as long as we wanted. I definitely would go again. It's worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our evening at Somos. New to the area. Beautiful, relaxed space and friendly staff. A huge improvement over this space's previous incarnation. The menu isn't just one type of Latin food, it offers a variety of flavors and dishes, some familiar, others obviously the chef's own creations. Our favorites were the ceviches, the quinoa-crusted fish and the wheat crisps with avocado, beans and cheese on top. Lots of flavor and crunchy goodness. Our waitress advised that the relatively small list of main dishes will grow...of these, we tried the roast chicken and the pot roast...both very satisfying on the rainy night we went. For dessert we shared the pineapple tres leches...yum! The cocktails were really good...we started at the bar and tried a few, pisco and bourbon-based drinks. Wines on tap as well as beers. My food photos didn't come out very well, but I grabbed a pic off their facebook page to give you an idea of what it's like. We would recommend you try it. We'll go back.

Couldn’t be more pleased eating here on a Saturday afternoon with family.. all food was excellent from appetizers to dessert including both red and white and blue sangria. Service and timing impeccable, portions so large plenty to share or take home. Fresh salad or soup served with entrees not to mention sides of green beans, carrots and Spanish potatoes. Nice selection of desserts, could have enjoyed more than one.

We routinely have our holiday party here as it is convenient and reasonable priced per person. I always order the black bean soup as a starter as it is really good. I am also a big fan of the paella. The sangria is top notch and they host a lot of holiday parties. If you are looking to have a large party down neck, this is a great choice.

First off, nice ambiance and a great wine list! It is loaded with a fabulous selection of Spanish wines. Pleasantly surprised. Lots of options on the menu. We started off with some clams to share that were really flavorful and perfectly done. For our entrees we ordered a paella and suckling pig. Both huge portions but both also dry...very dry. Was expecting better. Expensive.I'm glad you appreciated our extensive wine list. It's wonderful you enjoyed the clams as well. As for the entrees, I'm sorry you weren't as impressed there. I look forward to the next opportunity we get to earn another star or two from you.Sincerely,Andres, Manager

First time at this restaurant and fell in love with it. Service, wine list and food was fantastic. They bring bread and complimentry soup and we had ordered calimari which was good. We tried paella that was the best I've had in the US. So full we did not experience desert. Some on street parking and a well lit lot across the street for restaurant patrons.
