The friendly & attentive table serverwas very considerate in helping us choose & tailorour selections. The only thing you needto be mindful about, is that you need to bring CA$Has this wonderful establishment does NOT takeANY Type of Credit Cards; NO CREDIT CARD$accepted; so remember to bring CA$H!Your meal won't break the bank so it was worth itfor us to bring the Green to enjoy the worth-while meal.

The meal started out okay, the soup was good, better than I remembered. But it was downhill from there. The food was so bland. Pot roast (dinner special) was dry and flavorless even the brown gravy lacked flavor. Mashed potatoes and corn had no flavor either. I was very heavy handed with the salt shaker and it didn't help at all.I used to like the Horizon. I don't know what happened. I did notice the prices have gone up, unfortunately quality has gone down. Dollar for dollar I can get a better meal elsewhere.

We all met there for breakfast the morning after the wedding before everyone departed! Great food! Even better was the portions and prices. No one rushed us to get out and let the five of us sit there and catch up. Fun times!

First time in Waretown and at this restaurant. Adequate parking, clean and bright. Large dining area with contemporary design. Booths are clean and well maintained, no patches or broken cushions.Ordered cream of turkey soup, had to ask to have heated then it was great! I ordered liver and onions with mashed potatoes. Not much of choice of vegetables settled for mixed. Liver was excellent potatoes were bland and veggies tepid. Sent back. Cook chose to remake entire order?Had to wait and was hungry. Much better second meat was superior to the first. Veggies were firm and hot. Came with pudding, got rice, do not have Tapioca. Rice pudding was good.

On a visit with friends, who eat here often, they recommended the Flounder Francaise. Great choice. Healthy food generous portions, preceded by a good salad. Professional and personable wait staff. Clean. All the ingredients of a class$ic diner. Recommended.
