We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. We had a reservation and we were promptly seated. Our server was attentive, patiently answered our questions and clearly explained the evenings specials. Unfortunately, it was so loud that we could barely hear her, or each other. The cocktails were excellent. The Corn and Crab Chowder Soup was NOT good. Way to thick, almost paste. The Strawberry Goat Cheese Salad was excellent! The Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes had no jumbo lump crab meat in them, but they had very little filler, so they were adequate. The Wood Fired Paella was a better than average, but the clams were overcooked. The scallops were perfect and the remainder of the seafood was OK. The strawberry shortcake was very good.Based on the Corn and Crab Chowder Soup being closer to paste than soup, the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes not actually jumbo lump crab and the clams in the Wood Fired Paella being overcooked and the place so loud as to make it impossible to carry on a conversation, I would have give it 2 stars. Based on the service, salads, cocktails and desserts, I would give 5 stars, so I gave an overall rating to 4 stars.

My wife and I were looking for a new restaurant to try. Found La Cucina on Open Table and thought we'd give it a chance. From start to finish we had an exceptionalmeal with fine service. Our server , Danielle was attentive without being intrusive. We started our dinner with a special for the evening-Fried tomato caprese tower.. Lightly breaded tomatoes with delicious mozzarella in a tomato sauce. Better than your ordinary caprese. Much more flavorful. My wife had Linguine Vongole and I had Capellini al Granchio. Both meals were exceptional. Plenty of clams and crab meat with homemade pastas. Our meal was topped of with Spumoni- four mouth watering pieces of different flavors.Overall is was one of my favorite dinners and I will surely be back.Just for your information , they also can accommodate gluten free and vegan diets and there is indoor and out door seating.Thank you for taking some time and review us. We appreciate your business and hope to see you soon.

Knife & Fork Inn

Reviewed By Dianne C

The Knife & Fork, which I last visited about 50 years ago, continues to have a wonderful ambience as well as remarkable longevity in a tough business. However, our meal was disappointing. It could have been excellent but missed the mark in important ways. The highlight was a wonderful lobster bisque with deep flavor and color and generous bits of lobster. Couldn't have been better. The low point was the generic supermarket quality bread. In between was our entrees. The lamb lollipop chops and halibut seemed to be of excellent quality and were very ample in their portions (indeed too ample for us). However, both were sadly overlooked to the degree that we ate relatively little of them. We did not want to send them back and have to wait for a second try, but I was surprised that our waiter carried away half full plates without asking whether something was wrong in a restaurant of this stature. Let this be a warning to emphasize how you want your food cooked.

Very good service. I would choose a different salad next time. had the highly recommended ugly tomato (what they call it) and I found the crispy shallots to be a bit too much. Perhaps adding some gem leaves to the plate would have balanced out the acidity. Ordered the half roasted duck which was expertly prepared. More of a winter dish so my fault for selecting it. Great cocktails

Wow...my experience was way different from the other posters. We ordered clam strips and a crab cake. The clams were dry, very tough, and too heavily breaded. They were also clearly frozen (we saw them being prepared). The crab cake looked like a small pancake. It was, at most, 1/4 inch thick.Despite the small size, it was still mostly filler. Our bill was $30.Astounding giving the poor quality of the food. The only reason I didn't rate Clam Shack with one star was that the staff were nice.

We heard so many good things about this place that we decided to check it out. The Happy Hour was fantastic! Our drinks (martini and an Aperol Spritz) were sooo good. Crab and corn chowder was hot and delicious. The oysters were so cold and fresh. The calamari was crisp and tender. The crab cakes were very tasty and the lobster Mac and cheese was amazing. Everything was beautifully plated. Service was friendly and attentive. Loved sitting at the piano bar. Even the piano player was great! What a delightful way to start the evening! Can’t wait to go back. So good to see that this famous restaurant is not resting on its laurels. ❤️

This is a good restaurant, but it really doesn't stand out that much compared to other upper-end food from this kind of chain restaurant. We enjoyed fairly good service. The waitress was attentive and helped us with our choices. The potsticker appetizer was very good, but the salad and main courses (trout, steak, tacos) just didn't live up to the atmosphere OR my experience at other Bonefish Grills.

Dinner for 4 on a Tuesday night was great. We had a reservation for 7pm, arrived about 530p, figured we would have a drink at the bar for a while before sitting for dinner but the bar was jammed, no seats available so we went to front desk and they graciously arranged a beautiful water view table for us. When we said we weren't in a hurry and wanted to just enjoy our drinks for a while before ordering dinner, our server (Brianna) was very accommodating and made a great suggestion for ordering an appetizer platter which we could nibble while we sipped our drinks. We got a delightful, tasty bruschetta combo with numerous tidbits and quantity sufficient for the 4 of us, a real treat. Our dinners (3 steaks and a salmon) were great, quite pricey, but well prepared and very tasty. Terrific experience overall.Thank you so much for your golden review. We really appreciate your feedback and we hope to see you again soon. -GN
