The pizza is what they are known for, and I wanted to try it. The thin crust was carefully done,but the overall flavor was just average, I thought. Everything was ok but not amazingly so- typical bar interior, friendly staff, semi- cold beer, but the kitchen was slow and all the tables were waiting. My pizza took more than an hour.Prices were slightly on the high side: salad, pizza, two beers and with tip youâre hitting $50. Free parking 2 hrs in city garage across the street.

Love this place. Go 3 or 4 times a year for special occasions. The food is always amazing, the wait staff is always helpful. The drinks are always made just right.

We dined at Deninoâs last night and had a great time. They have greatly expanded the menu. We didnât order any, but there are plenty of appetizers and salads to select now. We had our standard pie with half sausage. It was delicious! I tried their cheesecake which was excellent as was the espresso.

This is a great take out restaurant. The pizza and mussels are a Sunday night must. All the sandwiches are great, especially the chicken parmigiano sandwich. Prices are reasonable, but quite often the wait gets quite long, which in itself tells how good the food is.

I was here for a private party this past weekend. The room, food and decor were lovely. Service was efficient and helpful and the food was of fine quality. From my experience this appears to be a great place to host a party or special event. Lorenzo's is conveniently located at the Hilton Hotel and not far from the Staten Island Expressway exit. Parking is plentiful.Thanks for this kind review, Mary! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit. Carteret NJ has several pizzerias that I consider very good quality. Margherita's is one of those places. Their pizza crust is exceptional and the overall taste of the pies are excellent. Try a mushroom & garlic, or eggplant with roasted pepper pie. Their sandwiches are also very good. They are accommodating with special orders. My only complaint (and during work hours this is a biggie) is they are very inconsistent. A promised delivery of 30 minutes turned into 80. Overall, however I would recommend this pizzeria.

Family Friendly Place. A Lot Of Fun. Very friendly staff. We were celebrating Birthday.Got song "Happy Birthday!" from staff. They make you feel comfortable. A little noisy, but bearable. I recommend a family style food. we had $59.99 per person, but $49.99 pp is more than enough. Enjoy!!!

Although the location and the look of the restaurant on the outside leaves a lot to be desired the inside of the restaurant was very nice. The food was very good and the waiter attentive. The Calamari appetizer was good and enough for the four of us. The shrimp parmigiana and veal pizziola was delicious and the servings a nice size. We have been to this restaurant before and would definitely return again. We recommend it.

We were starving as our hotel was deceptive and their restaurant they still advertise had closed and reopened as another, they closed early. We were left with no other option than to find a place that delivered to hotels later in the evening. Our food was delivered very hot and it tasted so good. I got the cheese steak. I highly recommend this place, at least for delivery.

Local restaurant which we passed for 25 years. Finally made a reservation. We were greeted by the owner and went to the bar to have a drink while waiting for our other guests. Barmaid was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Food portions are large and delicious. Also have a pizza menu. Wait staff is attentive and you are not rushed. My only recommendation would be to offer better wines by the glass. We will go back.
