The restaurant was full, so the service wasn't as attentive as I had expected, and the tables were close enough together that the conversations from adjacent tables was annoying. I noticed that none of the servers were smiling and I found that odd.I enjoyed my three appetizers and they were so filling that I didn't have room for dessert, other than a delicious glass of Warrior Port.I recommend the poached pear salad (I ordered the dressing on the side), the tuna tartare and the gnocchi (with brussel sprouts, feta and squash or pumpkin puree.)

Don’t really like the food here at all! But that won’t be affecting my review because when I went in, it was solely to try the beer they offer! And the beer was amazing, plenty of options and they are updated and switched out weekly, you won’t regular beer here! Definitely go in and have a flight of beers to try various ones.

Thank you Chimney Rock Inn for having many vegan options. It always amazes me that some restaurants can successfully manage to have several vegan options, but most can't even offer one! Although I grew up in Bridgewater this was my first visit, but it won't be the last. I ordered a bowl of veg chili and the strawberry quinoa salad. Both were delicious. The chili portion could have been a little bigger, while the chip portion surrounding the bowl could have been smaller. Red sangria was just ok, next time I'll stick to wine.Husband had the salmon which came with a salad. Apple brown betty a la mode for dessert. The food was good, not outstanding, but the choices for a vegan diner coming with a non-vegan diner was the high point for us. And nice to dine outside too.

Zin Burger in BrIdgewater, NJ is the new addition with quite a large capacity. No reservations required though it seems to be getting filled up fast during peak hours. The waiter was good and accommodating. Prime Rib burger is certainly better than a regular Zin Burger. By the time you are half way through your burger, you begin to wonder how it become bit messy. May be try to ask Bun and toppings on the side. Milk Shakes seem to be popular though you won’t miss much without it. French fries don’t come with your burger and extra $6.50 for it is simply to encourage you to find another reason to avoid it. People do debate if the non burger folks can get something. Fresh Tuna Sandwich was good too. Even Beyond Burger was on the menu which some other day I got to try.

The service is almost always hit or miss. I know it's a busy place especially during dinner time or if there are sporting events that are a "must-see" but, there's no excuse for being unacknowledged and to be waiting around for a server for 10 minutes if you're already seated. This has happened to us on numerous occasions but, we just roll with it since it's, for the most part, a fast food place that sells beer. As far as the wings go, they're really good plus they have a very good selection of beer on tap.

Lunch for 2 people with moderate appetites, no alcohol, with tip was about $60.00. If you like paying dinner prices for lunch, then this is the place for you. I had their signature rotisserie garlic chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy and asparagus. My friend had the chimichurri New York strip steak, which came with French fries. The chicken was very average and a little bony, the asparagus was overcooked. I had coffee. No dessert.

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.

One person in our group thought his salmon was a tad dry. Service was not good never checked on us and left the dirty plates on the table too long. Usually better will probably return.
